Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Zimmy will explain. Thank you for your kindness and good humor. DjjD has been to all B'roos but one- and hopes to see you this summer. If some of the big acts aren't your cup of Darjeeling- follow me and I'll show you some great stuff. If you can't make it this year-- I have already heard some rumors for next year. Congrats to the clue solvers. If you feel you solved a clue- PM moi.
Thanks Skol.
Ah Dj we still love ya, the clues had us going all over the place. And dont start that crap about next year until I get some prozac for the emotional ride. The acts are all cool, I think is what it was it that LZ site went down at the same time. Although we all knew this wasnt going to happen it was kinda like the Sansta think. You hopen it is real after you have been told the truth......
For a possible album review, biatch!!! (Although, our listeners/website viewers would probably be thinking, 'Moe, what in the f*ck is wrong with you??")
we think that anyway
Yeah... B and I figured that you guys think we're crazy already.

I concur about the inforoo brunch, I think the DJ should make an appearance, I would love to throw fruit, I mean shake the hand of the person who has kept me so busy/slightly obbsessed over the months lol....I wouldn't really throw fruit ... I really enjoyed the clues, they're the reason I joined the boards, and I would love to see them done again next year
Description: be nice to zimmy- he's just the messenger. target/twain/hobbes/ape photo/arrows: Les Claypool (one of his hobbies is bow and arrow practice-Primus used to take targets and the road and shoot at them before soundcheck) All of the pics of monkeys are primates. Sounds like Primus- also Les. (Somebody got this one but didn't know it! Congrats, a prize is on the way.) 05/07 This was one cracked, well done.- Smokin Dave opened for WSP. (And REM, etc...) Was last minute add so was not on websites or print ads. Some suggested first round of clues too easy. DjjD made up for that with this one by finding something you can't google. Milan and Paris. Switching From Gin to BEER. What made MF. They sound about 'miss' when they were JOVEN (young). Superdrag had a song called Senorita when they first started out.

I must say that after all of this, the "Big" announcement made Roo less of an attraction for me. Why in the world would they possibly shorten the best Headliner band that they have lefts set (Pearl Jam)??? Are they crazy? I don't ant to see Jack Johnson come out with Pearl Jam for more than 1 or 2 songs, as a guest I want to see PJ Rock the Quack out, and that ain't happening with Jack on stage. Also, My gf and I were excited to wind down the festival with a nice, chill, Jack set on Sunday night, a hell of a lot better than the WSP set which sounded like the same song for 3 hours last year.

i think jack johnson is just taking over the allman's vacant spot. i dont think that will shorten pj's set at all.
although the guesses put together in a show with Phish, gorillaz, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, The Dead, Neil Young, Oasis, and Govt Mule would be freaken great. If Dj could pull that off I may forgive him for torturing me with the clues.

Maybe we need to give Zimmy a butt wuppin for being the little spy. I should end this with LOL............................

Why oh Why was there a need for an announcement of an announcement for this??? They had to have all this lined up when the announced the ABB canceling???
Bonnaroo still has the most eclitic music around. Being a fan of rock and bluegrass means I can only see the two together once a year. Jazz, blues, electronic, rock, bluegrass, country, rap, trance, comedy, art and a killer atmosphere is unique to Bonnaroo. Yeah there are some bands I would want to see there but like the Rolling Stones said “you cant always get what you want but if you try real hard you’ll get what you need.” Bonnaroo has everything I need for my 4 day fest. Plus after this many years Bonnaroo probably has the logistics of a fest this size down better then anyone.
As far as people getting angry over ABB. How flippen selfish can you be. That treatment is hard and Hep C is a deadly desires. My wife has MS and the meds she takes for it are in the same line of what he is on but half as strong and it kicks her butt. Instead of all the complaining send ABB some good vibes.
As for me I will be enjoying my self in June getting away from one of the toughest jobs in the world to relax to and go wild with the sounds and enjoy the atmosphere.
didn't i see stuff about Robert Plant also playing with the Strange Sensation?? I thought someone said that he was but I can't find anything about it... help! That would totally make me happy since I was kinda let down about WSP

am i the one he's talking about since i said this yesterday?
It clearly was helping us to finish this clue, which we couldn't transcribe. Why would you spell cheese and onions dpds or spdp?
Clue 12 Providing a tip that you lack Or as the Ruttles would say Do I have to spell it out for you c h e e s e a n d o n i o n s or I would spell it dpds or spdp
primus did sailing the seas of cheese and les claypool did purple onion
i just want thank you to djjd! I hope he isnt scared off and i hope he reads this.
But anyway, thank you. I had a LOT of fun with the clues this year. like i said earlier, it really opens your mind and is a great way to pass the time until the "announcements' (this one and the official lineup). I personally would never have thought of half the stuff posted on thes boards about these clues. Even though a lot of people are disapointed (I'm NOT), i think it was fun working together. I had a lot of good laughs and i know a lot of other people did too.
and i didnt think it was a waste of time. i hope you continue with the clues next year. and to those people who did think it was a waste of time, maybe you should think about participating next year and not getting yourself too involved. you should see that it was just a game, just for entertainment.... and you will undoubtedly be disapointed again if you cant see this.

Clues done. Who's got another two-month penalty kill?
We could keep the clue game going until June...for instance...who can guess what I'm thinking about right now?
Or, we could take turns making "big announcements"...for instance...wait for it...I'm pleased to announce that I will be headlining the main urinal of the 3rd floor restroom in about 3 minutes. I know, I know, I've headlined there 5 times in 2 days, but it's still a big announcement, people.

Oh yay, I'm so glad we got a few explanations! Haha and we pretty much weren't anywhere near the hobbies/target reference. Oh well. And ratsoup, nice work on the primates/primus reference if you had that first! I had a lot of fun puzzlin' these out with all you fine people. DJ JD, thanks SO much for entertaining us all for these months, can't wait to say hi at the Inforoo brunch.
