Hey guys long time lurker first time poster!!! Can't wait to rage it wit some of u hapnin peeps!!!!
Anyways, I just wanted to say real quickly on the whole "hoax" debate that the semicolon can be used in a working address. I don't remember to much of this kind of stuff but I think you can use it on a server that would recognize it and generally it's used as a way of tweaking a site. Like for example if you were to change something in the html it could be used inside a temporary address to tell the server what your doing. Does that make any sense? I don't know I guess all im trying to say is that obviously whoevers page that really is someone WAS editing it at the time that it was accessed.

The Spin Doctors put on some of the BEST jam shows I ever saw circa 91-92. They were a bona fide jam band who got stuck with a one hit wonder radio stigma.
^^^A lot of groups on the fake Coachella lineup aren't bad. Afroman's hilarious and Midnight Oil, Crash Test Dummies & Duncan Sheik aren't bad either. I really feel like the lack of Dio really hurts the lineup though...

little miss little miss cant be wroonggg.
anyways.. i cant wait for the three tenors (in the tent)
...you know you're obsessed with Bonnaroo when you're discussing the merits of both a fake Coachella poster and the Spin Doctors' live show circa 1992.
and dio also gets a bad rap. heaven and hell is a great album. now a days sabbath is better with dio. forget the image and the clothes. hes a godfather of metal.

This is a major win, that's all I have to say. Sort of disappointed with WSP, because I was hoping for DMB, but... I'll get over it... now. Over it. I don't get all the hate this is getting too (not so much here but elsewhere) there's plenty of JAM to go around to satisfy. Still crossing my fingers for Arcade Fire and MMJ (their set last year was absolutely epic).

That's what I hear, I wasn't even into jam bands until last year's Roo, and now, I can't get enough of them... I definitely won't write them off. And to be honest, this line-up is awesome, going or not going is NOT hinging on add-on's, that's just icing at this point. Now... we wait.

Here is a sendspace for Widespread Panic New Year's Eve playing Chilly Water. This gives you a great overview of the new sound with Jimmy Herring, and how the whole band just gels perfectly now. It's a 12mb file of just the one song in mp3 192.

Please give it a listen and see how awesome they sound compared to the 05 shows. A complete rebirth.
And give it a few minutes to get going on all their solos and jams.
damn im about half way through and im convinced. herring destroyed all good. when he was out witht he black crowes it was simply amazing. im gonna have to get this whole wsp show

Shit yea booooyyyy! RATM and TOOL in the same festy season? I am too damn lucky! And for the past 3 years i have beeeeen prayin for a late night flaming lips set! The lineup is dank! Just like this shit i enjoyed in light of this wonderful lineup! Imma go listen to Regatta De Blanc from the police again! P>S. We do need some Les in there, i know its comin, what form though? could we be lucky enough for a primus set? maybe C2B3 out of nowhere!! that would top it off for me..BoNnArRoOoOoO!!!!
Just prior to rowing out onto my water bed to get some sleep, I received an e-mail message from my 'superiors' to MAYBE post something at 7:00 AM PST (Feb 14) about a big show or something in a state that I'm not all that familar with (with a bunch of bands that I've never heard of)
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So hit me with music. Hit me with music, now, yeah. Hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.
I was actually very dissapointed in the lineup becuase there are practically none of the bands I was hoping for. No Volta, Shins, Explosions in the Sky, MMJ, Bob Dylan, Arcade Fire, TV on the Radio, Bright Eyes, Death Cab, Cat Power, Neko Case, Andrew Bird, Sufjan. NOBODY!
For me the most exciting bands on the list are White Stripes and Decemberists, even though there are a ton of bands I would rather see.
But I'm still pumped! Even though I'm not a fan of a lot of these bands (Police, Tool, Widespread, Flaming Lips...), i'm sure they put on great shows.

:: 2007 INITIAL LINEUP IS HERE!
Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are proud to announce the initial lineup for the 2007 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. The sixth annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 14-17, 2007, on the same 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. With over 100 bands and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages during the 4 day weekend, the mind-blowing Bonnaroo '07 line up promises to rock the Volunteer State like never before. A wildly diverse list of confirmed acts follows, with more to be announced in the weeks ahead.
Tickets for the 2007 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will go on sale next Friday, February 23rd, at Noon Eastern time through this website.

what a crappy way to announce the bands. just a list. weve had that for a day. wheres the nice page with the band links and some descriptions. all this waiting seems like they could have done a bit of a better job.
the whole lineup thing has just been under-whelming in every way for me. guess i just built it up to much and was overly excited.
By next monday. It's so good now, I can't wait to see who comes next!
edit: Dude I agree the list does kinda suck, but I imagine yesterday was like full-on-madness at Superfly with that leaking and there being nothing they could do about it, so I can understand.
I think the additions will probably make you a bit happier. I hope so at least. The lineup is pretty damn good, but it still needs a couple names here and there to really nail it down.
