i will be there and i will be having a great time. but it is the least excited i have ever been for roos initial lineup. thats all.
That's what surprises me. I saw the list today and thought it was a step up from last year's initial lineup and I'm a mammoth Radiohead fan! I thought this list would appease the people who thought roo was drifting too far. Just surprised.
I guess, though, that if you were not going to waka you would see it differently since you are seeing many double bookings this way. On its own, roo looks great to me.
i would like to see animal liberation orchestra, assembly of dust, toubab krewe, grace potter, abe quigley, deep banana blackout, particle, ekoostik hookah, phil, trey, the black crowes, robert randolph, dave, oakhurst, yonder mountain, etc...
i know i cant have my way. and im fine with that. but every year there is less and less of the traditional roo music and more of the stuff im not that into. the more indi coachella stuff. but i know i will have a good time. see lots of great music. likely will see the best show tool has ever put on, plus the police. its gonna be a good roo. just not as exciting as i expected it to be.. all this waiting, just kind of anti-climatic for me.

I saw Wolfmother in Philly a couple months ago....never really heard of them either but MAN! three guys played they're hearts out! And they did a Led Zeppelin cover that would've had you looking twice to see if that was robert plant on stage
He has guested with Bob Dylan before. Hmm, maybe this could be a sign of things to come. That would be a sure way to bring fire into Dylan's set (assuming he gets added )
id rather see stewart pop up[ somewhere personally.. but i think they have a show in vegas on friday and another one somewhere on sunday. dosent leave much time for bieng cool. stings gotta get the money and get out ;D
I love that there is jam, and everything that's not jam is indie. Hilarious.
well thast houw you read it. not how it is meant. atleast when i say it. i hate the 'jam' genre. its not even a genre. but most people know what your talking about when you say it. but i love all types of music. just more into rocking and imprvising then i am the indi stuff. i think indi is just as bad of a term as jam thouhg. just a broad generalization. not a genre of music.
and also why is it always some hippie wookie that steals from people??? there was a whole large crew of people that were there selling shirts that certainly didnt fit in. all thugged out. im guessing they did more thefts then hippies and wookies. strung out wookies beg for chane and beer. and some may break into tentts and steal, but i think most are enjoying the shows or passed out somewhere in ceteroo

THIS PICTURE IS VERY VERY FAKE: Some incositancies: 1. The Icon next to www.bonnaroo.com is not the bonnaroo logo, which is standard source for their page and should be 2. The gap between tab bar and page is too large and plain-looking 3. THE f**king DATES ARE WRONG. Seriously, dude, how could you have screwed this one up? 4. ; is not a valid URL character 5. the /festivals/ folder is not on the bonnaroo site hierarchy... they layout the site www.bonnaroo.com/2006/index06.htm ype it in your browser) to be certain. So the correct address ... will be www.bonnaroo.com and they'll have it java/flash linked it; this way would not have worked
Good try, but you fail
Thanks for playing
Jambase has already confirmed the lineup plus some extras.
it's feb 14 but the official word is still not posted on bonnaroo.com...I'm waiting... ;D
you think they'll wait til later in the morning - maybe mad about the leak today? i mean, come on, you can't dangle a bone over a dog and not expect it to drool a little.
it was killing us. feb 14 was way too late anyway.

If you are referring to my post I referred to the person that stole things out of my tent as a hippie wookie because he was. my neighbors caught him.

And so did billboard, both quoting this guy as sources.

ahh ok.... i was in this case. but anytime someone posts about something geting stolen they blame it on some stinky wookie ;D
what did ya do? i would almost rather not catch someone because what do you do at roo? i dont see myself chasing them and beating them to get my stuff back. sucks that happened. most wookies are good people!!

Wow dude, you got me . . . I'm so bored with myself that I create fake webpages (or perhaps just pictures of fake webpages, supported with fake testimony from others) and put them on messageboards so that I can deceive a couple thousand people I've never met before for a matter of 12 hours, only to bring on their bitter disappointment . . . hahahaha (evil laugh).

It would take about 2 hours with photoshop, less if you were good.
And stranger things have been done, it is the internet after all.
And, hey, the points I pointed out above are valid, do you have counterpoints, other than "that's just the way it was" because I assure you that ";" can not have existed in the URL... and they use an image as the background, so why would they have made an image with the wrong date on it at all? Or maybe you just were a bit too hasty?

oorza, please read more carefully: it's not a "picture", or at least the original wasn't. What you see here is a screenshot of a live webpage complete with hyperlinks. Many people here used that URL to access the page and saw it for themselves, myself included. Come over to my house right now and I'll show it to you.
I can't explain the semicolon problem but I know for a fact that earlier today that URL linked me to that very page.
