Caleb Williams seems like a guy who calls women "females".
I probably don't know enough about the guy to evaluate him in any meaningful way, and I don't know why he rubs me the wrong way, but my gut says he'll be a spectacular bust on the level of Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell. He definitely says "females," and says they should know their place.

Idk if he'll be good or not. He just seems like a malignant nerd to me. Maybe success will come as easily as he seems to expect. If not, I feel like his public persona could get kinda ugly.
They both sucked. Boomers that are no longer relevant in their jobs, working on legacy. JJ Watt and Burleson were way more interesting.
Nothing against Phil Simms (no comment on Boomer, because I'm feeling nice today), but I will not miss him one bit. He clearly knows football but he brings nothing exciting to the table.

IIRC, Tony Romo getting hired as lead CBS analyst to call games alongside Nantz was what bumped Phil Simms out of the booth and into the studio show.
The Vikings apparently offered 11, 23, and a 1st next year to the Patriots for 3. The Pats declined and took Maye at 3.
Curious what people think. I'm assuming Minnesota would have took Maye at 3 and the Pats would take McCarthy at 11. The two extra firsts would have been interesting.

Thats correct. But theres a few of the analysts who have been there way too long so they should get some younger people in there. Fox has a little tougher job whenever Terry and Jimmy hang it up in terms of replacements. But there wont be a shortage of former coaches in the future who will be able to get those jobs like McVay. Dude will be another Gruden.

Big mistake. You'd have to be super confident that you nailed your evaluation of Maye and McCarthy and that Maye would be that much better, and I don't think that's a reasonable conclusion.
