Made a playlist of the album without the interludes lol. That part of the album was dragging so much apart from Candy Necklace. Even kintsugi kind of a snoozer after a combined 8 minutes of interludes

I was doing the same thing at first but I've actually come around to liking the interludes, even the Judah Smith one which I was soo not expecting lol. There's something sort of hypnotizing about it to me, very eerie. Kintsugi has destroyed me, I was sleeping on it at first but I think it's so beautiful and so sad.
I'm trying to account for recency bias but I do think this is one of my favorite albums she's released, right up there with NFR and Ultraviolence imo.

I'm with you, I also like the interludes, especially the Jon Batiste one. I like the Judah Smith one too but I just think it's too long. They go well in the album and match the vibe and sound imo.

Been checking out Lana's setlists and have to say, I'm not sure she could have picked a better group of songs. As long as we also get Hope is a Dangerous Thing... which she does most times but not every.
If there's one thing that's a little disappointing tho its how many songs are "shortened." I get trying to fit as many songs as you can into the set but there's a LOT here where she's not doing the full song. Not sure I'm a fan of that. One ot two, fine. But too much and it seems like it would be constantly changing and might be more difficult to get into the set. Idk. Still stoked to catch her live for the first time.
