I was at Bonnaroo during plenty of Hellfest and then out of town so I didn’t get to put anything up there for the schedule. But France’s Arte has posted an assload of sets to YouTube. It’s not all great but Watain and Suicidal Tendencies are there. Nightwish, Down, Orange Goblin, The Exploited, Discharge, Kadavar, Sepultura, Behemoth, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Redfang, GBH, etc.
For metal fans, Arte TV (France) is giving out some sets from Alcatraz Festival today. No stream schedule but Evil Invaders, Behemoth, Death Angel and As I Lay Dying are on it. Started up about an hour ago so there should be several more hours of death.
Wait this is Local time so central is - 6 hours I think.
18 - Exhorder (some old friends from the 80’s) 18:45 - Evil Invaders 19:35 - Life of Agony 20:25 - Vio-Lence 21:10 - Amaranthe 22:00 - Death Angel (\m/) 22:50 - As I Lay Dying 23:45 - Carcass 00:35 - Behemoth
Lots of TBA’s still out there. Other acts playing Sunday include Houston’s DxRxIx, Wild Heart, Turbowarrior of Steel, Trauma, The Raven Age, Thanatos, Speed Queen, Panzerfaust, My Diligence, Liar, Lethal Injury, Killthelogo, Ethereal Darkness, Darqo, Cobra the Impaler, Bear, Angel Crew, 1914, Bloodywood, Funeral Dress, Satan, Ignite, Pro-Pain, Praying Mantis, Sick of it All, Diamond Head, Abbath, Gotthard, Korpiklaani, and Cannibal Corpse. So 4 of them will also be on the stream.

You’ll want to do more than just skim it. It was really heartfelt and was glued to entire 6 hour program.
Yeah word. I’m finding that out. Just got through Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
Edit - I still gotta get all the queen, Sir Paul, Chrissie Hynde and shit but damn. That’s a show for the ages.
I don’t even much like AC/DC that much but Let There Be Rock, YYZ, I’m on Fire VH, Hawkins’ kid drumming for My Hero, Dave’s solo Everlong and him breaking down on Times Like These, Nandi Bushell playing Learn to Fly
Theres going to be a shorter version that cuts out the changeovers. Mtv is supposed to have it. And paramount plus has a 45 min version. Theres torrents on private trackers up snd its on archive.org but its screen recording resolution. I had tried to get the youtube one but it was 23gb and kept timing out til it was pulled.
A available in full on Paramount Plus. It is marked as Episode 2 for the taylor tribute. Its just over 5 1/2 hours on there. They prob trimmed some of the changeovers.

I read an article from Variety that YouTube will stream from all 6 stages this year upping the feeds from 3 to 6. We can make sure once they release the stream schedule in the next couple days.
Coachella 2023 is just two weeks away and on Monday the festival announced plans to amp up the reach of its global lineup with the addition of three extra live stream feeds.
For the first time, the festival will be live on YouTube across all six stages on both weekends starting April 14 at 4:00 p.m. PT and continuing on April 21 at the same time. For those who can’t tune in live, performances will be made available each night following the evening’s live stream, while many of the top-billed acts will also be available on demand.
Do you figure this an effort to prop up slacking demand for tickets or laying the groundwork to start charging to watch in future years?
(Also a reminder/plug that it should always be Couchella, Sofaroo and Loungerpalooza)
I don't follow it outside of the lineup release and watching the streams, so I didn't know there was a slacking demand for tickets if there is. It could easily be the later though. AEG has so much money that they can afford the crews to film all the stages. I guess they could get increased revenue by slapping you with intermittent commercials when you change the channel if they're not setting up to charge for the content itself in the future. I watched it for several years before Covid. That Friday-Sunday was reserved with multiple tv's and remotes side by side. But then last year was the year I watched the least I ever had - lots of flipping channels and not getting the usual inspiration sometimes for hours in a row. There's plenty I do like, don't like or don't care about this year. But with 6 stages rolling, that doubles the chance I'll see something I want to see and enjoy more frequently than 2022.

Lolla and Acl made their deals with Hulu to be streamed only in their service. Aeg laid some groundwork with a ppv stream company but nothings come of it since the youtube contract goes for 3 more years iirc. They already have camera crews at every stage now anyway. Yuma is likely the easiest since you just mount some around the tent. Sonora had a few hand helds for b roll footage last year but now theyll just solidify that. Hell, Glastonbury and the BBC should maybe think about charging for anyone to have access to their stream outside of the UK. Likely be a decent source of income since they have crews at every stage anyway and you can switch in real time if you wanted to.
I always figured biggest hurdle was artists signing off since many bigger name artists havent appeared in past years so will be interesting to see if it really is everyone, everywhere, twice type of thing or if there are gaps in program schedules.
Depeche Mode, Blur, New Order, The War on Drugs, St. Vincent, Perfume, Måneskin, My Morning Jacket, Christine and the Queens, Arlo Parks, The Moldy Peaches and Sparks, amongst others.
