I loved the guy from like 7th-10th grade and still think sslp, mmlp, and eminem show are pretty great records, but ugh. I thought his '11 set was very underwhelming and he's only put out more garbage since then. I would prefer pretty much any festival headlining worthy rapper over him at this point.
The material and the lyrics have just not aged well. At 45, how is he not ashamed doing some of those songs live? Was hoping to make Roo my one major fest of the year but I might just hold out for ACL in hopes they don't book him too.
Eminem’s live sets aren’t nearly as bad as they’re made out to be on here. He was fine when I saw him, but there are some of his more recent sets on YouTube and they all sound pretty good.
The only time I saw him was Roo in 2011 and I thought it was pretty bad. And at the time I was a fan
Yeah I’ve heard complaints about all his 2011 shows but no other year. He probably just wasn’t feeling it at all on that tour, but if you look at his most recent Reading set on YouTube, he sounds fine. When I saw him in 2014, it was fine.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Totally with you here. I do find it odd he is playing SO MANY festivals this year, but I definitely won’t mind seeing him again. His shows I’ve seen have been great. Interested in our other headliners before I jump to any lineup conclusions.

Confession: I’ve seen OneRepublic live, on purpose, and they were glorious.
I've seen OneRepublic and Goo Goo Dolls live together, and it was...a free concert in a park.
Still a damn good time, I'll grant you that.
I've seen the Goo Goo Dolls many, many times. They're pretty paint by numbers at this time but they were a lot of fun supporting their first few albums.
