I just noped out fast on Pissed Jeans and Xiu Xiu (but I'm listening to their Twin Peaks album now). I liked Tim Darcy. Still not sure what I'm going to vote for. Ryan Adams might end up being the default. I need to listen to Strand Of Oaks again.

You're the worst.
I have to really like the music to get into a voice like that (Pissed Jeans) and I wasn't feeling it right now. Maybe fun to see live. Xiu Xiu was just wtf? but this Twin Peaks is great.
Someone point me out what to listen to. I've heard Ryan Adams, Strand Of Oaks, All Them Witches, King Gizzard, Dirty Projectors, Crystal Fairy, Orwells, Sampha, Tinriwen, Sinkane. I can't pick one yet.
Knowing the little I know about you, you should definitely check out Vagabon.
I kept going back and forth between this and King Gizz, almost gave King Gizz the nod. I really dig the new King Gizz album, they get some heavy grooves going.
HM:
King Gizz Dirty Projectors (just a few too many weak songs on the album to give it AotM, but some great songs on it) King Woman Sinkane Xiu Xiu (this one didn't knock me over the first time, but there's something about that makes me think it will grow on me quite a bit)
Future is probably his worst album. The only thing good about it is the Mask Off beat. HNDRXX was about to be the nail in the coffin when it comes to me listening to new Future projects but it was actually very solid. Highlights: Sorry (think its his best song since Codeine Crazy which means alot coming from me since I fucking adore that song), My Collection, Fresh Air, Hallucinating, Incredible.
I liked it a lot more. I thought FUTURE was just generic club bangers for the most part, HNDRXX is more R&B influenced and he lets loose with the vocals which is refreshing. Its a top 3 Future project for me so far.
I have to decide between Ryan Adams and Dirty Projectors. I'd say Sinkane and Sampha take 3 and 4, thudercat rounding out the top five. His would have probably been more if he made the album shorter. I tried Hndrxx but while I think I'll like it more than most his stuff, I'm just not too crazy about him.
