They could maybe get Travis Barker to come out during both sets too
And a surprise appearance from JellyRoll
(Yes, this is a real thing)
They should just do a Waffle House Hip Hop SuperJam featuring Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Hopsin and Machine Gun Kelly with Travis Barker leading the backing band. They could have surprise appearances from ICP and and Immortal Technique.

Bubba Sparxxx would be a welcome addition unless he's on grill that night.

Travis Barker did both a Blink 182 set and a solo set at Firefly last summer. His solo set was awful. He drummed over terrible hip hop being played at a low volume as people talked over it.

I'm bored as hell at work today so I found some of the old Roo schedules online. 2013 Late Nights were just ridiculous. Wu Tang, Pretty Lights, ZZ Top, Animal Collective, Wolfgang Gartner, & Porter Robinson all in ONE fucking night? Not to mention this was all preceded by Paul fucking McCartney on the What. What the fuck happened?

Pretty sure The xx, Billy Idol, R Kelly and Weird Al all played that night too.

The xx and Wu Tang ended up getting switched, and they had a hip hop superjam in That Tent. I was pretty bummed out that I had to do my volunteer shift that night.
That Wu Tang > The xx > Pretty Lights sunrise set was one of the greatest nights at Roo I've ever experienced. And of course Sir Paul brought the house down as only he could. What a year 2013 was lol.
But I still think you guys are crazy acting like Roo has completely sucked since then.
2015 going from Kendrick to RTJ to Earth Wind and Fire to Flying Lotus was a pretty amazing night too.
It's just a bummer the late nights have become a bit neutered. 2015 was the beginning of that, as STS9, a band known for jamming, ended relatively early. Some people reported to me that D'Angelo was prevented from doing a third encore (presumably "Untitled (How Does it Feel)" because the organizers were telling his band to stop playing.

I don't think they have sucked. But seeing the 2012/2013/2014 lineups for the first time and getting that initial rush of excitement and losing my mind is something I really miss. I hate that they've reached the point that I've basically got my fingers crossed that there's enough to get me back. Of course I will always find stuff here and there that I enjoy on the lineup, but the past 2 years haven't come close to blowing me away in the manner that all of the earlier lineups did.
2013 was the first time I had ever heard of Bonnaroo. I thought it was weird seeing Paul McCartney on the same lineup as Pretty Lights, Porter Robinson and Wolfgang Gartner but also really cool cause I had never really paid attention to festivals outside of edm. That was the main reason I wanted to come to Bonnaroo because the variety of artists was deep and it stood out to me and it was the only big festival relatively close to me.
My first year In 2014 during blam I saw Elton John, Kanye, Skrillex and Disclosure and I was sold.

Yea I heard the same thing about D'Angelo. Why do you think the organizers were doing that? It can't be a money issue or sound oridnance...I remember hearing Kalliope from my tent...So why are they intent on killing late night?? Also, I was really dissapointed STS9 ended so early. I expected them to play till the sunrise, but I'm guessing the fest organizers were doing the same thing that they did to D'Angelo.
