I honestly only enjoyed a couple of songs on the DJ Shadow album, though I only listened to it once. Maybe a second listen will change my opinion but I doubt it.

Definitely give it a second listen. My first listen wasn't amazing either but obviously you see how I voted haha.
It's always tough to pick between albums that you love, but this time my head won over my heart.
HM: case/lang/veirs, Maren Morris, Nails, Tegan and Sara, Whitney
Alright. It happened after all. Voting for Mitksi. Seeing her slay it live last Sunday definitely helped solidify this vote. But I do have to say that I haven't given due time/attention to some other stuff from this month that is really great and right up my alley/already a loved artist, like Whitney & Blood Orange & DJ Shadow.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
This was my winner for June (and it made it to #9 on my top 25 albums of 2016 so far list)
2. Twin River Passing Shade - more people need to give this album a try. (#18 of 2016) 3. Wye Oak Tween (#19) 4. Band of Horses Why Are You OK (#20) 5. The Claypool Lennon Delirium Monolith of Phobos (#21)
I'm about to post my top 25 list in the Top Albums of 2016 thread.

Just a few HM.. Classixx, Weird Dreams, & Claypool-Lennon Delirium.
Slooooow month for me. Couldn't get into DJ Shadow, Mitski, Whitney, or Swans.. Tegan & Sara and Temper Trap were just alright, and Marian Hill & Broods were kinda let-downs for me. Ready to hear that new Frank Ocean this month though
