I've never seen him that mad about anything. He's right though. Clemsoning doesn't exist anymore. The disrespect is getting old.
I did appreciate how ready with the stats he was. You can tell he's really over hearing that same question over and over in some form.
He's always ready with the stats. One of my friends just called it right, "he's a marketing genius". For some reason no one is noticing what Clemson has done the last 5 years. But he's going to keep selling it. Maybe we'll finally get the respect if we beat FSU in a couple weeks.

You're starting to get it. I've heard playoffs mentioned a lot more with Clemson and I've heard multiple analysts refer to Clemson as clearly the best team in the ACC. FSU is the only real competition between Clemson and an undefeated season.
Also, I would be remiss without bringing up horn's boys who dismantled a ranked team. Apparently, Harbaugh has decided his team isn't going to allow opponents to score points for the rest of the season.
First FBS team to get three straight shutouts since 1995. And they're getting better every week.

Chubb's mom posted on Facebook that he tore his PCL and two other ligaments. They have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can do surgery. Needless to say, his season is probably over. Very unfortunate but it could have been worse for him.
Wow we got a first place vote. The Tigers received a first-place vote in the poll as they were one of five teams that received a nod as the best team in the nation.
1 Ohio State 2 Baylor 3 TCU 4 Utah 5 Clemson 6 LSU 7 Michigan State 8 Florida 9 Texas A&M 10 Alabama 11 Florida State 12 Michigan 13 Mississippi 14 Notre Dame 15 Stanford 16 Oklahoma State 17 Iowa 18 UCLA 19 Oklahoma 20 Northwestern 21 Boise State 22 Toledo 23 California 24 Houston 25 Duke

Hey, how about those Pitt Panthers? Sitting at 4-1 (2-0 ACC) with the next three games Estuary Jones Tech, @syracuse, UNC at home. Could be 6-2 or (gulp) 7-1 heading into the Nov 7 showdown in Pittsburgh vs. Notre Dame.
The Narduzzi effect on defense is palpable. We lead the nation in sacks after being 102nd last year, and our defensive numbers are up all over the board. Our offense is doing ok with Peterman at QB. Would be nice to have the reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Year back there.
Thinking of making my plans to tailgate in Charlotte the first weekend of December with custeph and sang_xcx to prepare for Clemson slaughtering Pitt in the ACC Championship.

That division is wide open so it could easily be Pitt that gets slaughtered by Clemson in Charlotte.

Sarkisian is taking a leave of absence from USC to seek treatment. It's unfortunate it's come to that, but I'm glad to see he's getting help. That being said, USC's season just got a lot tougher.

Really poor of Pat Haden to let him coach after the preseason incident. When you wonder how a place like USC can waste all the advantages they have, mistakes like this, that's how.
It's a really strange situation. I find it particularly interesting that USC wants to make it clear they asked Sark to take the leave not the other way around. Seems like they are setting him up to be thrown under the bus.
I think this raises an even more interesting question, how much longer can USC possibly let Haden stay.

It's time for Haden yo offer Kyle Whittingham $6 million a year for five years or they're gonna can him.

You're prolly right. If Whittingham is going to go anywhere, and he probably won't, it may be USC if they can double his salary. He currently makes 2.6 a year and had a bit of a riff with the AD at Utah last year because he keeps losing coordinators because they won't pay. He's been there forever, but it might be the right situation. I think this guy is the feature and he will succeed no matter what, Urban Meyer style.

If I had to pick the favorite from that division to be playing in Charlotte against Clemson it would be Pitt, but it's wide open. One thing going in their favor is that they finish the season with back-to-back home games, while Duke/UNC finish with back-to-back road games. Was at the Pitt/VT game, I was impressed with Pittsburgh defense. We had that one TD drive in the first half in which Motley had a 20+yd run and a 20+yd pass....other than that we didn't have a play go over 12 yards. Our offense is far from Baylor, but it's not that bad (put up 4 TD's against NC State/ECU, had a field day against Purdue.)
Everybody in my family except me is a ND fan, so I have watched them a few times this year...wouldn't be surprised if you guys took them down. The key to beating them is stopping the run game/Prosise. He is averaging 7 yards a carry, every game that he has been the starter (which is all besides week 1) he has 150 yards or more.

I don't think ND is going to lose again. That's a good team.

They're a good team...but I don't see them winning out. Have to play a USC team that throttled them last year this upcoming week (only a 5 point favorite, at home)...still have to play @pittsburgh and @stanford. Can't see them going 3-0 in those games with the backup QB.
The Illuminati knows ND isn't losing again. That's why they dropped them 9 spots in the polls after losing on the road to a top 10 team by a 2 point conversion in a game they had 10,375 turnovers. They will be 11-1 and will never sniff the top 4.
That sounds about right. If they're 11-1 they're not going to get in over ACC, SEC, Big 10 and Big 12 champs.

I could totally see them going 3-0 in this stretch, and that's coming from someone who cheers for them to disband their team every week.
Notre Dame has no shot at the playoff. Too many spots going to conference champs like the SEC (of course), Big 10 (this year), Big 12 (TCU and Baylor are good, don't ask about Kansas), Pac 12 (kinda a down year) and the ACC (you gotta be shittin me).
The ACC has 1.5 good teams. Unless FSU or Clemson are undefeated, no ACC team will be in the final 4.
If Clemson and ND both have one loss and ND gets in over Clemson, I'm starting a riot.

Check their schedules. One of them probably will be.
