It's looking like a FSU-Auburn rematch for the championship right now. Auburn is likely to get one loss playing in the SEC however and once the Final Four starts who knows what will happen.

FSU is #1 right now, but they're not the best team. Auburn will probably lose a game or 2. Not sure who the real #1 is right now. If Miss St beats Auburn, I'll have to say it's them.
Yep, just like the Ducks, UT spent too much time on image. Checkerboard stands? Remember to stay focused. spend energy on winning the game and not how everyone will look when doing it. And yes, there is proven scientific research that supports this theory.
you do realize that was a fan initiative, not a university one, right?
Does not matter who initiated it. My point being, and I will admit, a strange one at that, the collective consciousness of UT fans was focused more on checkerboard stands and not at the threat of a Gator.

Not strange, that is idiotic. The only people who should be focused "the threat of a gator" are the coaches and players. Teams dont win games because the collective consciousness of the fan base wills it.

Maybe Will Muschamp offered a whole ox to the Sumerian victory gods whereas Butch Jones only sacrificed a small goat.
I don't know. Fan t-shirt color is but one of many factors that leads to a loss.
Apparently there are some issues with the Florida Gators. Just a bunch of rumors at this point but it is starting to leak. Here is what one of the AP people in Gainesville had to say: "What I'm hearing about the Gators, if true, doesn't sound good at all" @apmarklong
Interesting. I was talking this morning to a co-worker about how people can say what they want about the "Decade of Dominance" but I don't think pulling out the W really did much to help Muschamp as Florida's offense looked like hot garbage for the first three quarters. Much like sang_xcx was saying with Swinney a few weeks ago, I can only imagine that he is getting tons of the fanbase questioning why he didn't pull Driskel earlier.
Edit: @davejonesufbeat A source close to the situation has confirmed that this does not involve the future of Will Muschamp. Stay tuned for details. #Gators
Editx2: Looks like God hates the Gators and/or Muschamp. @davejonesufbeat Gainesville source has confirmed that #Gators quarterback Treon Harris is being investigated in a legal matter.

Meh, I like to think me yelling at the TV helps my team win. Either way, UT will not be checker boarding the stadium any time soon.

Exactly. Do I think the only reason UT loss is because of that, No. Does it help? Yes, I think so.
More room to show that no one even makes it out of the tailgate lots! In all actuality I'm proud that we're trying to make IU football more respectable and be more than a basketball school.
Georgia Bulldogs tailback Todd Gurley has been indefinitely suspended during an ongoing investigation into an alleged violation of NCAA rules, the school announced Thursday.
"I'm obviously very disappointed," Georgia coach Mark Richt said in a statement. "The important thing for our team is to turn all our attention toward preparation for Missouri."
There was lots of talk about this on the Reddit college football board. An autograph dealer said a Heisman candidate had gone overboard with it and shit was going to hit the fan. A lot of people thought it was Gurley or possibly Maritotta. If that is indeed what it was then this is bad news bears for UGA's season.
Obviously all of that is just run-of-the-mill message board chatter and rival fans on message boards are ready to crucify any and all players and Reddit is not at all a reliable source. But still...
"SI.com has learned that a person confirmed to Georgia’s compliance office this week that he paid Gurley $400 to sign 80 items on campus in Athens, Ga., one day this past spring. The person claimed to have a photo and video of Gurley signing the items, but neither the photo nor the video showed money changing hands. NCAA rules require schools to immediately declare a player ineligible if they discover a violation has been committed. Schools may then apply for the player’s reinstatement. Reached by text message on Thursday afternoon, Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity declined comment."
Jesus christ. Guessing it will be similar to AJ Green 4 game suspension over making $1000 on jerseys. Meanwhile players get suspended 1 half for drug arrests and a game for rape.
The punishment system in the NCAA is a joke. How does Gurley get yanked for the rest of the season, when players have gotten far less for drug use and violent behaviors

Basically, you can do whatever you want, just don't make money.
