I've started to enjoy it more. Druid's right, he just slays that guitar. I understand why people are turned off by his personality, but I've never really cared about celebrities behavior. I just want their art to be entertaining.
Slow week for new music. It has allowed me to go back and reevaluate some of this year's albums. I totally under rated Against Me's album. It fucking rocks.

Jack White's album is pretty strong. It got a bunch of spins before and en route to Roo, and his performance really hammered home how good some of its tracks are.

I thought the new Jack White album was uninspired. Mediocre at best. The first clear-cut misstep of his career. I love Jack as much as the next guy but this album is like Jack imitating what he thinks Jack White should be at this point. He's so bought into his own mythos that he could put out such a mediocre, derivative crap Fest as Lazaretto. That said, I still love the guy. Seen him three times, own everything he's ever put out. Disappointing album though.
I love Lazaretto, but I'm an unapologetic fanboy. Only huge misstep on it is Entitlement. Two others that I'm loving are First Aid Kit and Phox. That Phox band is a breath of fresh air into the indie folk scene with the frontwoman having an infectious voice and style. Check it out on NPR First Listen.
White's new album is great... but all I can listen to this week is Ultraviolence and Band of Brothers. Willie gave some of his best stuff on this new album!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

It'll be an inforoo classic.
Something just clicked for that dude in the past year or so. His past albums are sorta clunky, but somewhere along the lines he developed the touch while playing them live and is just rocketing forward.
