Wow, April will be tough with Damon Albarn, Thee Oh Sees, and Cloud Nothings. Good thing I already know the Pixies album is garbage otherwise it'd be brutal
Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata Liars - Mess The Men - Tomorrow's Hits Nothing - Guilty of Everything Perfect Pussy - Say Yes to Love Pharrell Williams - G I R L Real Estate - Atlas Tokyo Police Club - Forcefield The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream
some of those are already out of the running, but that's my March list.
March is brutal. I'm still leaning towards Eagulls, but giving everything a listen over this weekend.
So I'm listening to Future Islands for the first time also, on the second or third song right now. This could end up on the list too. And I mean top 10 of the year so far.
Current top 10 of the year, still trying to figure the order.
John Butler Trio Eagulls The Men The War on Drugs Sun Kil Moon Black Lips Schoolboy Q Pontiak Sharon Jones Warpaint
EDIT: I'm open to any suggestions, based on what I like.

Spent tonight trying to give everything another listen before the end of March. "Atlas" is still my current favorite, but Future Islands has come out swinging.

Worst album of the month:
Foster the People - Supermodel. .
That band is the worst.
I felt they had potential to do something real good, not that I particularly enjoyed their last one, but they certainly showed potential.
Not surprisingly, they went the other way with it. IMO of course.
Coves debut album came out here today I'm not sure if it has a US release or not. I'll assume if it has a release it would be tomorrow but I think it'll be a contender. Think Kills, Raveonettes, Nico, Melody's Echo Chamber.
