Yep, this is the week I got totally screwed over on - as predicted. No Foster, no Torrey Smith, no Hilton, no win this week.
In my keeper/money league right now, I'm literally one Marshawn Lynch yard short of taking the lead in my matchup and a two game lead in the standings.
I checked the league settings and it looks like the top 6 make the playoffs regardless of divisions. Do we know this to be true, or do division champs make the playoffs regardless of ranking?
Yeah but I didn't know if it was a situation like Missouri where James Franklin was on the sidelines in uniform but was only coming in unless everything went to hell. Otherwise, he will probably be out this week and the next.

With the record they have now I would say they play Keenum the rest of the season and see if he can be their QB for the future. He has more than tripled Schaub's total of 40 + yard pass completions for the season.

I do wonder how Keenum's performance will impact things when Schaub is 100%. They didn't win, but Keenum showed some potential especially for a young QB that had practically zero experience with dropback passing in college.

This is from CBS Sports
(10/28/13) Texans coach Gary Kubiak announced Monday Case Keenum will start at quarterback Week 9 vs. Indianapolis instead of Matt Schaub, who is reportedly dealing with torn ligaments in his ankle. Though, Kubiak stressed this was a performance-based decision. "Matt's health is fine. It's a decision based on what I saw take place last week (at Kansas City) with Case," Kubiak said.

Gotcha. I missed a lot of football stuff while I was gone for MOEMS. I barely caught up with college much less the pros.
Edit: this is all moot anyway since chicken already has Keenum.
Finally getting a win this week is nice, but probably undeserved. Getting lucky with the Rodgers injury is a lot harder to feel good about. I'll take it though, especially with Colorblind Tigers coming up.
With Stafford coming off his bye, I'm ready to trade one of my backup QBs if anyone is interested. I really need a TE, but would take a good WR too. If you feel like Locker or Glennon would be an upgrade on your current situation, send me an offer.
