Side note: When I worked for the police, one of the detectives was a Browns fan. When I saw he had a Browns calendar at his desk, I told him I was surprised they had a calendar because it would seemingly require them to have 12 good players. He then proceeded to tell me to get the f*ck out of his office before he shot me.
Does anyone else find it funny that even though the Browns are clearly trying to throw this season so they can get first pick (trading away best player, starting 3rd string QB) no one is bringing it up? Doesn't it make more sense to keep Richardson since having a RB like that is a great compliment to a good QB? They must want Bridgewater pretty bad.

I think Flanz alluded to it earlier. It's easier to find a good RB than a good QB. Weeden is not getting it done. Campbell has had shots before and didn't get it done. This year's QB class should have some good prospects at QB (don't forget about Boyd). With two first round picks, they have a good shot at being able to pick up a better prospect for a QB and another higher quality player to fill one of their other needs (a RB would obviously be a start but not necessarily who they will go with) and end up coming out pretty good on the deal. Honestly, it's not like the lack of Richardson is really going to change their season that much. They were going to have a sh*tty season with Richardson. They are going to have a sh*tty season without him. At least this way, they have more of an ability to build for the future.

The Browns are also pretty much selling high right now. I know Weeden is a joke and their line isn't good, but dude averaged 3.5 YPC last year. Anyone can do that. If you're a running back drafted third overall you basically HAVE to be a stud. If Richardson stayed with the Browns and had another mediocre year they'd never get a first rounder for him.
In a classic case of burying the lead, here is the last paragraph:
As a rule of thumb if you’re a Jets fan and you make fun of any other team in the league for losing too many games you deserve to get beaten to death with a PVC pipe. No if’s ands or butts about it. Like forget about all the other details of this story. Who hit who first. Who got thrown into a recycling bin full of glass bottles. Whether they are best friends blah, blah, blah. It’s all semantics. If you’re a Jets fan you keep your mouth shut and eyes on the ground period.
Thanks to Barstool, even I hate other Boston fans and understand why everyone else not from around here does.
Glad to see Andy get the win tonight. Now, it's only a matter of time before the unreasonable fans of the Eagles start running Kelly out of town, at least he'll probably deserve it.
One advantage to being part of this currently craptastic division is that, at 0-3 each, neither the Redskins nor the Giants are out of it. Not saying it will happen, but if Washington somehow beats Oakland next week and then miraculously takes down Dallas after the bye, they are right back in this sh*t.
Honestly, Jimmy, you should really be rooting for the Giants to go 7-9 and somehow sneak in the playoffs because the division is a cesspool of suck. Then they can get in and upset the Saints and make everyone really upset. It's a lot of fun. You'll get people b*tching about the playoff rules and everything, it's hilarious.
C'mon, let the Saints be the #2 seed in this scenario and have the Giants beat the 49ers in the first round.

Most pundits are saying 42-27 Denver tonight. If they are really on fire, it might even be more lopsided but it's not often there is a 14+ point spread.... r****

That would imply not only that the 49ers get in as anything other than a wildcard, or that they get in at all.
FTR, I don't think the Saints are a wildcard team, I think they win that division, with ATL snagging a wildcard. My gut tells me that the 49ers right the ship and get hte other WC but maybe not. They look shaky.
I see it as #1 Seattle, #2 Saints, #3 Chicago, #4 Giants, #5 San Fran, #6 who cares..
Seattle and Saints get the bye, #3 vs #6 and #4 vs #5. Therefore, Giants vs San Fran first round.
Dallas is winning that division. Monte Kiffen + Wonderboy no longer calling plays = 8-8 or better (which is all it'll take to win that trash heap of a division).

FTR, I'm using those seeds in this made-up scenario of the Giants squeaking into the playoffs and winning the first round match. I do not honestly think those will be the real seeds.

As Giants fan I only foresee the seeds of discontent.

I thought the defense was a bit soft. Maybe you get complacent because of the offense but we still have great players still coming back. The offense turned it over twice, so we still have a lot to improve on, but most of the time it was just a matter of what do you want to do and then they did it ... A couple of goofy records broken by Manning but he killed it :clap:d ... cr****
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Dave Maynar, I'm going to be honest. I'm a little hurt that it's now Friday and you've yet to even begin trash talking in advance of our Jets/Titans match-up. It's like I don't even know you anymore.
