You just know that you're gonna hear a shitstorm on that
If so, it'll be from dickheaded right wing jackasses who still think that "reverse racism" is an actual thing.
I know this isn't the political thread, but the only white people I know who complain about "reverse racism" are low-income blue collar people who are democrats. Obviously that's anecdotal - and I'm not saying they are right. But I imagine it's easier to point a finger at those people and call them jackasses when you aren't the one struggling to put your kid through a decent college.

It means that, even if the "reverse racism" argument is largely bogus (all things considered), you should have some sympathy for the section of society that is genuinely struggling out there and feel like they have less opportunities. Not everyone out there claiming they suffer from "reverse racism" are wealthy white males lounging in their St. Bart's villa. A lot of them are low-income people, from low-income neighborhoods, that feel like they are already born into a disadvantageous situation to begin with.

Even having sympathy for their situations, how does it make the "reverse racism" line of thinking any more plausible or acceptable?

Reverse racism is just called racism, right?
I mean, I'm not talking about affirmative action but I'm sure that there are cases in which whites are discriminated. Not as much as other races but that doesn't mean it's still not bad, right?

What does that even mean?
He's saying that while we may think it's fine, many college applicants are denied just so the college can have a certain amount of minorities. But from the perspective of a struggling household sending a kid to college, that's awful for them. But I mean every law is gonna fuck someone over, right?

Because affirmative action will have a significantly more negative impact on those sections of society than people like...you. Again, I'm not saying they are right, but they certainly aren't "jackasses" for feeling like they are missing out on certain opportunities when in fact they are.

Or would be conservative Democrats, except their sheer stupidity pushes them Republican.

Huh?
It just seems to me that a number of people out there should vote for Democrats, because it would best serve their financial interests as blue collar workers, but instead vote for Republicans because they believe the lies of Fox News. Or they get swept up in some popular racist commentary, such as people of color are in this country stealing jobs from the white people.

Well, this first half was a shocker. Green Bay's looking mighty good right now.
If Green Bay was doing mighty good, it would be 35-0. Their defence is doing amazing but the offense is under performing given the circumstances. They're giving room for a comeback.

The good thing about your team being knocked out in the divisional round is that you're a lot less mad than you would be at them losing in the championship game, hahaha...haha......hah.......ha.
