He hit her with his hat, should he have done it, no. We cant choose our family and some family dynamics aren't as black and white as others. Shitty situation but to still hold that against him even after apologizing and staying off the radar the last few years seems unreasonable.
It's just one of those things that I can't look past. But I dislike him most for his diva persona. I much prefer guys like Fitzgerald, Andre and Calvin.

From the Washington Post:
"On New Year's Eve 2008, TMZ published a story that said Fitzgerald had been ordered to stay away from [former girlfriend Angela] Nazario. It detailed the allegations, gleaned from court documents, that she leveled against him -- that after the two began quarreling, Fitzgerald challenged her to a play fight. Nazario said she swung at Fitzgerald, who then pushed her. He "grabbed me by my hair with both hands on the back of my head very very hard and tossed me across the room." When Nazario tried to leave with their son, she said Fitzgerald "grabbed the back of my neck and slammed me down on the marble floor…. was disoriented for awhile and could not get up, I remember he mumbled something about 'that's what happens when you try taking my son away from me.'" When she made it to her car, Nazario said she realized Fitzgerald had pulled out chunks of her hair."
Never charged, never investigated. This was back when professional athletes were given the wink and nod over crap like this.

Cant hate on a guy for being passionate. If he where yelling at Romo to throw HIM the ball Id say you'd have a reason. But hey im just a huge Dez supporter so i guess were all a bit biased.

Ohh wow a panthers ravens superb owl, I'm salivating at the prospect of every brady-blowing douche in this country being forced to watch Steve Smith and his battle to further insult his ol fam. This thread would probably catch fire with all the posts about what people will (not actually) be doing besides watching the game.
I will say, after a very lackluster group of match-ups in the Wild Card round, this weekends Divisional matches are much more exciting. Peyton vs Indy has gotten a little cliche at this point, but it still makes for an interesting game. Dallas has a chance to test it's undefeated road record at one of the most difficult places in the NFL to play at in January.
And the most interesting of all, IMO, is Carolina vs Seattle. Seattle has beaten Carolina the past three years in a row by a combined total of only 13 points and neither team ever scored more than 16 points. It should be an old school, smash mouth, battle in the trenches, blah blah blah type of game.

but weren't the last two Carolina-Seattle games in Carolina? I would love Carolina to win, but Carolina made a lot of mistakes against vs Arizona (late game holding, that awful INT, almost letting that game slip somehow) that didn't matter because Lindley, but those mistakes are gonna kill them if they don't fix them.
Dallas vs Green Bay should be the best game for me since I like both of the teams and I don't mind who wins.

The panthers have bounced between being serious threat and a joke, but this year has been a breeze compared to watching only a few years ago. I feel like the only (minor) chance of getting past this weekend would be in Seattle, but that stadium is as big of a threat as their defense. Everyone knew this would be a rebuild year due to cap hell, they are playing with house money at this point.

I thought they were done after releasing all of their WRs

It was hard seeing the league pick the bones after the divisional, and watching smitty go was both expected and a blade in my side. I'm excited about what cotchery and benji have done this year, Benji has plenty of potential as long as they teach him how to hold onto the damn ball. He hit his rookie wall inevitably, its been hard watching them force him the ball since.
This will be DeSean Jackson's worst year to date. I feel bad for their fans because once RGIII goes down again they're gonna be as bad as ever.
I realize this is a ridiculous thought, but what if RGIII doesn't go down?
Also, we'll see on the Eagles. McCoy is excellent, but suddenly their only other real threats are Riley Cooper, Maclin coming back from an ACL, and a 31 year old Darren Sproles. Celek is still average.
Recent history tells us that the Eagles will not repeat as champs of this terrible division. It looks like it's the Cowboys' turn.
Bad prediction + good prediction = one single self-back pat.

As you were saying...
Dont jump the gun fella, you're hosting AFC champ first.
wahhhhh rex to Buffalo. I will die if I have to endure a few years of Mcdaniels, Dimitroff and Pioli.
Here's hoping Atlanta nabs Shane Ray in the 1st round and can pick up any combination of JPP, Suh, Julius Thomas, Maxwell, and Bruce Carter in FA. Need a young, talented WR to replace Roddy soon as well.
Resign Bryant, Antone Smith, Lowery, Weems and Peters and let the rest of eligible FAs go.
And none of this will happen except the hiring of the worst HC option available in McDaniels.

Has ATL interviewed Todd Bowles?
He interviews today. My second choice but no telling how he will work out as a HC.

How's yer offensive line? Isn't that why you suck?

Mike Tice has been a godsend with this unit which was mediocre at best before losing 3 starters for the year. James Stone (UDFA rookie) and Schraeder (UDFA) greatly exceeded their expectations. A little more depth could be added in FA but with Hawley, Baker and Holmes healthy the offensive line is not nearly as important as other areas.

The Colts hit the jackpot with the 4 seed. Get the Begnals in the 1st round instead of the Ravens, then get the Broncos instead of the Pats. I seen Denver live late in the season...just didn't look like one of the 5 best teams in the NFL.
Seattle might blow GB out of the water if Rodgers is gimpy.
OK, so how the hell did the guy hurdling the line have the snap count...twice?
He's Kam Chancellor. He just does awesome things all the time. Most often he hits people so hard their souls detach, but he's just generally all around awesome.
