Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
Not that it makes any Quacks, as I haven't been an avid poster here in ages, but I honestly think the original idea would greatly enhance the experience of frequent users. There are some negative points that have been brought up, most of which stem back to cliques and hurt feelings, while understandable are pretty much a shrug of the shoulder...
A shrug of the shoulder by who though? n00bs to Bonnaroo who just discovered this forum? Those frequent posters on here who've been around for years? Are you saying the new comer should have thicker skin and try to make friends with the folks who have 5000+ posts under their belt in order to be invited to the exclusive threads?
I think the original idea that Juggs presented is awful. I do like the way it's evolved though, but I'm torn on this one. On the one hand it could validate the posters who show up and say inforoo is a big clique, on the other hand it could provide respite to the afflicted.
Juggs why can't you just read the first few words of someone's post and scroll past it? Like quack that guy.
EDIT: internal battle. Don't worry about it.
I meant moreso as the cliques and hurt feelings are a shrug of the shoulder in the idea versus forward progress of board functionality. There have been cliques on this board since I had my first account, almost 8 years ago now. Not so much petty cliques but those who put forth effort, get together, go see shows and bond, and everyone else. Feelings get hurt in the process of those connections forming and jealousy and pettiness ensues.
As it has been previously stated, there is no reason to think of this in terms of a VIP area or whatever... I would imagine anyone looking to have serious, productive conversation would be welcome. Hell, I always loved seeing fresh opinions, ideas, suggestions from "n00bs". More often than not the veterans of this board are welcoming to people who put forth effort here. Certain people make themselves known as trolls, troublemakers, easily offended, purposely derail conversation, oh my god, whatever, ect, and I would certainly think others would be less likely to want to include them in a fun group discussion...
Either way, consider the dead horse muthafuqin' BEATEN.

Its precisely the opposite. I'm assuming you wouldn't invite me to your private threads. And I can't wait to be rid of your garbage posts once you become preoccupied there.
Am I the only one who finds it absurd that Juggs responds to "useless posts" with even more useless garbage posts (frequently insulting and degrading others), and then gets celebrated for it?

You need to embrace the absurdity. It's really the key to understanding everything.

No, because you think that the concept of "celebrity" on a message board is an actual thing. Also because you generally seem to agree with me, but that's another discussion altogether.
Also, you seem to take this whole thing way too seriously.
Just because I agree with you on certain things doesn't mean I should respect the way you act towards others on this board.
And you are a "celebrity" on this board to some extent. People take great interest in your posts, they often refer to you in theirs, and they seemingly celebrate your summers breeze in a sacgery. "The Juggernaut" is like some mythical a$$hole that noobs need to watch out for. I knew who you were before I even saw one of your posts.
It's strange to me that people on this board condone/support/embrace you as a representative of this community.

I agree with you that it's absolutely bizarre. Not even joking.

I don't really take anything too seriously on this board. This is the first time I've ever really been confrontational (excluding one argument/discussion that I had with Flanz about New Jersey politics).
But I'll just take your above statement as: "You're right, I am an a$$hole. Why can't you just enjoy it like the others do and leave me alone?"

I saw you get into it once with EAP I think, but that's understandable.

Every body of folks needs an a$$hole, how else would you get rid of all the waste?
(And I also think this will all end very badly.. since we have made it to page 16 here...)

Hey, I'm new here. Can I interest you folks in a tale? What, you don't know what happened the last time Kanye West played Bonnaroo? WELL PULL UP A CHAIR. I can't believe you guys don't know this, it was crazy! Well, first he was late because he was partying in Atlanta until 3:00 a.m., drinking sizzurp. Then he forced a bunch of nuns off a plane full of medicine bound for the Congo, hijacked the plane and made them fly at SUPERSONIC SPEED to get to Bonnaroo. He was mad that Phil Lesh's old ass was still droning on (who cares about old white guys) so he slapped him twice in the mouth and broke his walker. Then, he came on stage at 5:00 a.m., f*cked a robot right in front of everyone, then pulled an R.Kelly all over the front row of the audience. I swear to God, this is what happened. Finally, he broke his contract with Bonnaroo and totally counter sued because they refused to pay him, so now they're broke which is why they can't afford any good bands anymore and why the fountain is brown and why the sonic forest never comes back and why they have to keep booking WSP every other year. So he's never coming back, and Phil Lesh won't even though he plays fests like Outside Lands because that makes sense for some reason.
. . . so yeah, the sooner the better on those private forums, alright?
