I really hate to stack this early in the game but, Hakuna >> Kiko
I'm sure there will be some movement or at least discussion, but SFA is right. This type of play is reckless and absolutely unhelpful to townies. This is the 2nd game in a row you have pulled this, and honestly even if you are a townie, I'm still fine voting you off. This is exactly the kind of play mafia love to see and allows them to stay quiet, sit back, and let the game fall the way they want it to. This is also the kind of play that worries me, as maybe you are trying to establish a routine, so when the game you are in fact mafia, we accept it as the norm and write it off. Obviously I assume I'll be the next one looked at, but as a townie I would rather open the flood gates and get constructive conversation going at some point, even if it puts me at risk.

Well at least it gets talking going, compared to vp which does nothing but let people do their ">>>" and move along. In fact, it pulled out an early mafia last game bc they were using Phi's gaming to make it out to be a mafia move, unfortunately too few saw how sily a justification this was to push votes on him.
Also, as town, we should never be ok with voting off a townie. Mathematically it makes the game much tougher to win and only allows us one more mistake the rest of the game.
Fwiw, mafia can be quiet no matter what we're talking about, but at least we're talking a little.
I am going to leave this open through the weekend, since several players have said they cannot check the game until night. Closing for Day 1 is tentatively set for Noon CST Monday morning, depending on how the conversation goes.

Well there's not much to talk about as of yet, but I would like to know why Quacker stacked me right off the bat without an explanation. It's not like he was the last to vote and had to stack.

I didn't like the gaming aspect of your post. Obv from my comment about Powerball. I'm keeping an eye on things. I wouldn't let you be voted straight off regardless of my disdain for gimmicky votes. I would change my vote to prevent that from happening.
On a positive note I do appreciate that you are posting and sharing your thoughts. Although the first quality post I've seen from you was this one where you asked why I voted for you - not the inane exchanges with SFA about rules of grammar.

Since my original vote was arbitrary, I'll prob move it to the quietest person by Sunday. I think it works if we get the quietest people into the runoff, so at least they will be forced to talk
We talked about some recent Inforoo stuff on your ride home today, so I know you've checked in, and I know you've been active on Facebook. So you just casually realized the game started or what? Your wording seems strange to me.
Maybe it's not a big deal because I know you sometimes go days without looking at inforoo. I do find it kind of odd that you are throwing me in to be the third in a potential runoff without any cause. The last several games have had a pattern of mafia types expanding the runoff to protect someone. Interesting.
You've always been in the camp that hates bigger runoffs.
Ummmm I always vote for you first round. Why the hell would I change it up now?
And I hadn't been on Inforoo in days before I checked in and realized the game was going on. I mean, I said I would play a week ago and no game has started, so what would give me any idea that it had started now?

This is so true. I know that there have been other players that Townies are content to vote off (I have been guilty of this thinking myself), and it truly does put us at a disadvantage. However, townies who tend to mislead other players because of their wacky play also put us at a disadvantage. And mafia posing as townies also mislead townies by playing wacky.
I have never played with you Kiko, I hope that none of these scenarios describe you

I guess I just figured you might have more to say but it is early.
And yes, I figured you would vote for me. I just thought you might have more to say is all.

What is there to say? It's the first round. I think we have proven time and time again that too much speculation in the first round ends up quacking up the game.

That's the problem with switching votes off the person your tied with. It puts you in danger, if you can't get someone to switch with you. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised to find ourselves in a runoff. We were making the most racket. The mafia tends to set back and let that happen.

That's what I was trying to explain. I was expecting to much talk early on and I was wrong. I even explained that I knew you probably hadn't been around the board in my first response to you.

I understand not wanting Kiko voted strait off but it kind of stinks to be put into a runoff because someone else jumped the gun.
EAP, if it came down to the wire I would have moved my Kiko vote off to create a 3-way with Kiko, MikeD and SFA which I think I would rather see. Your thoughts?
I'm glad you did this. I would have done the same thing. No one needs to be voted off straight away in the first round. Usually the runoff round can be very telling too.

I think though that it's concerning that moving to SFA lets MikeD off the hook. It makes me think that you might be trying to save somebody. As a Townie I can't be certain but it smells to me.

^ I don't really know what's up. I just think it seems weird that everyone seems so set on Kiko and I in the runoff. I understand EAP's position but Viking already said we had the entire weekend, so it seems strange that her vote change is being taken
