French horror is the shit. Not sure which ones you've seen besides those two, but
My favorites: Inside Livide Martyrs High Tension Frontiers
I still haven't seen Livide. Martyrs is by far my favorite out of that list but they are all pretty dang good. I still have Ils(aka Them) on my list and then I'm pretty much caught up on recent French horror.
I'm really behind on East Asian stuff. I'll check out some of the ones you've listed
thomwaits, Life After Beth was one of the worst movies I've ever voluntarily sat through. Maybe it's because I'm not in on the whole zombie craze. To me it was boring and completely unfunny.
I really liked it! It was dumb, but it was obviously supposed to be. But I also loved I Heart Huckabees, and I've had the impression that a lot of people did not like that movie.

I thought Aubrey's performance as the zombie was sad rather than funny.
I can't help but watch this anytime I come across it on TV.
I made abrakapokus watch it once. She said she had to take a nap afterward because she was exhausted due to being on edge for two solid hours because of the movie. I feel that was a quality review.

Has anyone watched that 'Salem' show yet? I just noticed it on Netflix last night. Critics don't seem to like it, but it has positive reviews elsewhere.

I saw it and added it to the queue because Netflix seems to think I will like it. Haven't checked it out yet though.
This movie is so beautiful in its horrifyingly powerful simplicity. Props to you.
Man, so good! I needed that after the overload of blood and guts. Olson hit that out of the park. What a great cast. I was first interested for the Deadwood alums.
