This movie was quacking relentless... awesome fight choreography and really not a dull moment in the full 100 minutes or whatever. Thoroughly entertaining, and I'm not a huge fan of action movies.
I like action movies, but this one was definitely a cut above. I saw it in the theater with friends. One said it is the standard on which he will judge action movies from here on out.
Well... it was better than I expected it to be. Almost exhausting in how odd it is. I definitely enjoyed it, and I'd even call it a good movie. Just, incredibly strange... it's so odd to see James Murphy in this, Neil Hamburger was great, and Tim Heidecker really showed some dramatic potential (even though this is still definitely a comedy). I think that this movie could appeal to even those that dislike Tim and Eric or Tom Goes To The Mayor (personally, I'm not as into it as I was 5 years ago or whatever), but being a fan of his style of comedy or at least having something of an idea of the strange shiz you're about to witness definitely helps.
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).
