Also, since I'm here, I have never seen The Wire, I don't think Breaking Bad is all that, and that zombie show, The Walking Dead, got really stupid in season 2 and has steadily gotten sillier and sillier.

I shaved half of my hair off in early high school, the underside of my head, so that when I wore a pony-tail, I looked seriously punk. The confession part of this is that I miss that look terribly and would do it again in a heartbeat if the world wouldn't look at me as if I was batshit insane.

Totally agree with Monie. Being batshit crazy has its perks. No one knocks on my front door anymore. I'm that dude in my neighborhood.
I should probably take this to Drunk Ramblings. It's going to be a long night.
1. I've never seen Breaking Bad, The Wire, or any other shows that are talked about either. I have satellite and multiple TVs, but I don't have the attention span to watch a series that has a story line to be followed. I'm not much on watching TV at all unless it's cartoons, documentaries, or educational type stuff.
2. My very first concert was New Kids On The Block. I was 11 and in love with Joey McIntyre. I have no other concerts to speak of until I was 19. I was not allowed to go to any unless my conservative christian mother could come with me. Needless to say she and I had very different tastes in music.
3. The summer between my junior and senior year I had hair down to my ass. I dyed it jet black and had the bottom half of my head shaved too. When I went back to school someone started the rumor that I was a witch and I rolled with it. Half of my class was scared of me all the way thru graduation.
Edit: I'm caught in a torrid love affair with vodka.

That's unfortunate. Because The Wire and Breaking Bad are quite educational.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Ever since I stopped buying cd's I have no idea what the names of songs are anymore. After a recent mmj show I was talking about it with someone, and they were so excited they had played Steam Engine. I knew that is a name of one of their songs. I knew I probably liked it. and I later verified that, yes, I too was every excited that they had played it. But when I was talking to that guy, I had no idea what it even sounded like. he could have been speaking a foreign language.
I feel like I'm a bad metalhead for this, but I just can't get in to Deafheaven. Sunbather is the worst. I've tried listening to it several times and can only make it about halfway through the album. I also never really dug Wolves In The Throne Room either.
Another confession - I'm a huge Pantera fan and have been for something like 22 years. Don't you fucking judge me.
Oh yeah, I really love Clutch too. They're one of my all time favorites.

You could only be judged as one with an ear built for quality shredding. One of my few 'concert brag' moments is being at the show after Philip Anselmo died from a herion overdose. For a dead guy, he wore that KC Chiefs jersey well. Multiple mosh pits kicked my youthful, stupid ass. Oh, the White Zombie opening stage show was cool too.
Not only do I buy them, but I also burn them still too! Ha. Top that.
I used to burn a couple copies of all the cds I bought, because my mid 90's raggedy ass jeep would scratch the hell out of them as I bounced down the road. Wasn't till a few months after I sold it last year that I finally used up my stash of cd-r's

I tend to only buy records. They usually come with a CD or MP3 download. Other ways I end up getting CDs are in packages from the artists themselves (like pre-order packages with a few things).
I'm convinced I knocked someone's drink over while I was moving around the Paul McCartney crowd. I felt so bad, I couldn't make eye contact with any of the six possible people who had no idea their drink had spilled. Also I've never seen Titanic, I cried during Click, dubstep scares me; I don't understand why it exists, and when I was younger I told myself it wouldn't make sense for me to like hip-hop because I thought it was socially unacceptable for a white person to do so. My friend had me listen to Jurassic 5's What's Golden when I was 13 and that was the end of that.

I really want to like the lineup this year, but I don't think I can. Also, I ate the last bagel at work the other day and don't throw the bag out and then later agreed with my coworker that there is a special place in hell for people who lead you to believe there are still bagels left when there are in fact no more bagels.
