This is a typical "Sanchez plays well" game, btw. Not a single person (me included) thinks he's capable of anything besides throwing directly to the DB's on Seattle and falling down after running into his own OL avoiding sacks. This is generally the point where Mark will have a game that makes everyone do a collective ".....the f*ck was that?" and then he goes back to sucking enormous donkey dong the following game.

I currently have 39.50 points, Sanchez sucks, I'm losing all 3 of my paid leagues with hail mary's to win any of them and my Rega RP1 showed up damaged.
I'm going to go lock a homeless vagrant in a pit and fight him to the death. Toodles!

My team has been overachieving all season, and continues to do so. I've got Tom Brady and a great 1-2 WR combo (Marshall and Nelson) but my RBs are Morris, Turner, Stewart, Dwyer, Rodgers. Only Morris is really worth anything out of that group. I've scrapped to a 6-3-1 record and I'm in 2nd place (1st place has the same record but more points scored). I'm trying to make a trade with the team that's in 5th place - if he loses this week, he's pretty much screwed, and he has Cruz, CJ2K and Harvin all out on byes. I offered Nelson and Turner for CJ2K and Harvin. I'm hoping he takes the bait and realizes that while Turner is a downgrade from CJ2K, Nelson is pretty equal to Harvin only he's active and not fighting a potential high ankle sprain.
I realize nobody cares.
Edit: OH. And someone in my league dropped Vick a week or so ago, so I snatched him up in order to block several competitors who need a QB from grabbing him (one of these guys starts Weeden, the other Tannehill), and despite Vick's well-publicized troubles, he's still top-10 in scoring for QBs. My plan was to trade him off before the deadline...and then he goes and concusses himself. F*ck.

Taking all you bright football minds outside of the Inforoo fantasy world, please help me rationalize this trade I just made.
I gave: Brandon Marshall, Michael Turner, Jacquizz Rodgers I got: Steve Smith, Shonn Greene, MJD.
I'm downgrading in a big way from Marshall to Smith, and in a slighter way from Turner to Greene. I'm 6-3-1 and should be in the playoffs (one more win and I'm a lock). I'm looking forward here, and MJD should be back in another week. Additionally, Smith and Greene both have crazy good matchips for the playoffs, so I'm hoping I get more value out of them then they've shown thus far. Post trade, my lineup will look like this:
QB: Brady WR: J. Nelson WR: S. Smith RB: A. Morris RB: S. Greene TE: J. Witten Flex: Heyward-Bey/J. Stewart/ J.Dwyer Bench/IR: MJD Def: play the matchups (this week I have Cinci vs. KC, I also have TB sitting there).
Greene just grabbed the wheel of the Jets' bus and yanked it, sending them off a cliff. I wouldn't have traded for him if you paid me.
(In case you missed it, he had a really long, really confusing, really dumb comment where he supported Sanchez after talking about how they "might need a change" from Sanchez. It was the worst I've ever seen an athlete handle a question, and he might get less work because of it)
Or he could run for 110 and a TD this week. The Jets are so schitzo even I have no idea wtf they're going to do next. I like the idea of bringing MJD in, and since sCam Newton decided to pull his head out of his ass, Smith should be a solid option down the stretch.
And Hay Cutler is concussed, so that could hurt Marshall.
At first glance you got the short end of the stick, but when factoring in everything I think it's a fair trade and you might end up with the better half of it down the road.
I think that the reasoning behind the trade is valid. I'm not super familiar with greene or turners numbers, but have gotten the impression that they are both inconsistent. Slight edge to Turner. I think Carolina is on the upswing, and steve smith will be a major part of their production, and the Bears schedule is getting harder, but Marshall will still be targeted more than any other wr in the league. The key to thus trade will be MJD's production coming off injury. It definitely has a lot of Risk involved.
Wow...I knew Turner was ridiculously overrated going into the season...but he actually has less yards than Greene.
I had no idea, I like that trade even more now.
Yeah, Turner's been a dumpster fire.
I'm really concerned about Marshall down the stretch, both with the Bears' increasingly difficult schedule and the chance that it's Jason Campbell throwing him the ball.
Like I said, I think I dropped off from Marshall to Smith (though not by as much as it may seem), maybe came out slightly ahead with Greene vs. Turner (I think Turner's role decreases as the season wears on and he gets more and more battered, and as the Falcons realize they're better off with Rodgers and Snelling on the field), and got a lottery ticket in MJD. All I need is for MJD to be healthy for weeks 14-16.

So now we have six guys/girls fighting for three playoff spots, and three teams that have clinched already and are fighting for the two first round byes. I'm sorry, Laces Out, but I'm going to be trying for that bye
