Umm... Rosko brought this up in the Artist Direct Confirmation thread. Lets avoid having the same conversation in multiple places. K. Thanks.
I was first, bite me.
I know. I was attempting a joke about the scuffle that occurred in that thread, but not a soul picked up on it. I didn't think people actually said "Um" and "K. Thanks." unless they are being sarcastic or extremely passive aggressive. Carry on.

Kid Cudi just announced the release date of his new album as April 23. I know alot of people werent the biggest fan of his last performance on the farm but I think this could make him very possible for a return
I went and bought me an outfit today that costed a lot of money today, youknowImean?, 'cause I figured that Wu-Tang was gonna win! I don't know how y'all see it, but when it comes to the children, Wu-Tang is for the children! We teach the children! You know what I mean? Puffy is good, but Wu-Tang is the best! Okay? I want you all to know that this is ODB, and I love you all, peace!"

Ugh, probably both late in the evening and I’ll have to debate camping for Macca or seeing one of them.
Would I be correct in assuming that Gary Clark Jr. would fall under the "No Way Are They Booking Him AGAIN" category? He doesn't have any conflicting dates in June and he's still playing fests..

Ugh. Grizzly Bear will absolutely 100% close the Which on Friday, no doubt about it. The xx will probably get a LN tent. Better start debating now whether to try to get a good spot for Macca or see all of Grizzly Bear and then run over for a sh*tty spot at Macca.
That's especially tough for me because I've never seen Grizzly Bear. I'll just have to make sure I see them at Coachella (unless they conflict with Sigur Ros). First world problems.

Naw, I think someone bigger than GB will close the Which before Macca. My money is on the Lumineers.

Where do you think Grizzly Bear will go then? I could actually see The Lumineers being the pre-headliner for Paul and then GB closing Which.
But if it was vice versa (Lumineers closing Which, GB opening for Paul), that would be so f*cking perfect.

I could see Grizzly Bear in a pre-pre-HL spot a la The Decemberists and Avett Brothers. Would it be too unrealistic to hope for something like Grizzly Bear-->Wilco/YYY’s/Vampire Weekend/whatever-->McCartney?

What stage did Grizzly Bear play in 2009? Roo seems to be very conscious about moving repeat artists up to bigger stages or prime slots. That's why I think Trombone Shorty makes his main stage debut this year.

I agree. I think they could wind up doing an afternoon set on the main stage.
Yeah, fingers crossed Grizzly Bear is in the Avetts/Decemberists spot so I can camp out at What all day for Sir Paul. No way they close the Which, IMO.

Dan Deacon is supporting Animal Collective on their tour this spring and a couple of dates overseas in July. So, he might be possible if AC ends up on the bill.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

I dunno, it's not that I think The XX has huge draw, but I think Roo will intentionally book someone less appealing right before Macca and someone huge closing the Which to keep the crowd circulating and buying beer and what not.
