Is this just you saying this based on nothing at all? There were several sources that stated Stevie was given an offer...so unless you have information that says otherwise, i'd stop acting like Stevie isn't going to happen.

No worries, sorry for spitting back at you there. I know nothing at all, the only connections I have is a intern at ticketmaster who can't tell me anything and an "important musical friend" in Chicago, and he is hard to get ahold of.

Who are all these sources and why do none of them have names. We have all been told "several sources" report an offer was made to Stevie Wonder but have not heard who these sources are. I love some Stevie Wonder I was raised on some Stevie Wonder and wouldn't mind him being the 3rd headliner but I think all the talk about him being #3 is just talk but we will see soon. I am just as eager to see the other act HMF signs cause the bottom half of the lineup needs a lot more improvement then the top half. I honestly know like 1 maybe 2 names on the bottom half and thats the part of the lineup that needs some improving.

The bonnaroo lineup does nothing for my friends and I (fight me), so it's looking like Hangout again for me. Need to go ahead and book a condo, and I was looking for some suggestions. We stayed at a Meyer condo that was the furthest stop east on the shuttle line (can't remember the name, phoinex maybe?). I'd like to be within resonable walking distance to the venue and keep the price around 200/person. Any help would be much appreciated.

And the oldest one in our group is 24 I believe. I think I remember that being an issue last year.

I'm not sure what Hangout is waiting for regarding the third headliner announcement. Unless they really don't have anybody, which is a scary thought this late in the game. I am a Hangout supporter and I am looking forward to having an awesome time on the beach this year, but I am very disappointed with how the lineup is being handled this year. The lack of communication leads to unrealistic speculation and ultimately makes the entire festival look like a bunch of amateurs.

I've started to believe the same thing. I've been been the past two years. Regardless of the music, it's always a great time. However, they are really stringing us along with the lineup this year.
I'm happy just with KoL and Bassnectar on the beach...that alone would have gotten me there this year...but yes, they are showing some negotiating weaknesses here for sure. I'm sure it's no easy tasks trying to negotiate headliners...but if Bonnaroo with over twice the capacity/roster can put out a full lineup, so should Hangout.
I still think they'll sell out pretty easily though. Anyone have some scoop on where negotiations are right now? I know some users earlier knew about the Stevie thing...maybe an update?

I think they will sell out once the third headliner is announced regardless of who it is. It really makes you wonder if they have a plan, or if they are just trying to get any deal done at this point.
In all seriousness, Blur would probably be a major get....I mean, they're playing Coachella and that's it (as of right now). Stone Roses would be fantastic too.

Absolutely agree, and they "fit the mold" more than another legacy act does. let's all just pretend its blur until it gets unblurred
opinion: no on the eagles, tom hetty and the eagles on the same bill for a relatively small fest seems a bit farfetched, and didn't they just play jazz fest?

This reminds me of the time when you could smoke in restaurants. My sisters and I would be getting impatient waiting for the food and my Dad would light "the magic cigarette"...without fail the food would be out before the cigarette was finished.
We were to naive at the time to realize that he waited so long to actually pull out and light the magic cigarette that the food HAD to come out by then unless the kitchen had exploded. Later on, it made sense why he always refused to light the magic cigarette the minute we placed our order........

Ps: Fwiw I have been listening judiciously to 92zew and they have made no mention of the third headliner release aside from saying that it is yet to be determined...
