He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).
Gaaaaah, whyyyy is this the same weekend as Rock The Bells?!?!!
this>>>>>>>>>>>>>rock the bells
Honestly, I'd have to disagree. I'd go to this to see Jay-Z, Santigold, and Calvin Harris for the most part. But I've also seen all of these acts before. Rock the Bells has a far more impressive hip hop line up. Frankly, I'm disappointed not to see anyone like The Roots or Kanye on the Made in America lineup considering their closeness to Jay and the fact that they are both playing shows this summer. I expected more hip hop on this lineup, but most of these acts don't interest me at all. I'd much prefer to see Nas, Common, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ice Cube, Method Man and Redman, DELTRON 3030 (SOO EXCITED), Slick Rick and RZA.
I went and bought me an outfit today that costed a lot of money today, youknowImean?, 'cause I figured that Wu-Tang was gonna win! I don't know how y'all see it, but when it comes to the children, Wu-Tang is for the children! We teach the children! You know what I mean? Puffy is good, but Wu-Tang is the best! Okay? I want you all to know that this is ODB, and I love you all, peace!"

my tickets arrived today, i was surprised that they have a ticket for each day which works great for me, i was thinking of taking my daughter but I dont think she (or I) could handle both days together, so one day my daughter will get to go and the other it'll be the GF.
I'm going to this! If anyone's coming from outta town..let me know! I'd be happy to show you around, give you info on hotels and transportation, etc.
So is Lady Shonda, apparently (scroll up). You should track her down paparazzi-style.
And I think I'm going to this, so I may be hitting you up on some local inside info. The only other times I've gone to Philly was to go to sporting events (where I'm the enemy, so I won't apply those experiences to this festival) and to get belligerently drunk in Manayunk, which I think is like Philly's Hoboken, so that doesn't count either.

Has anyone heard any rumors on lineup additions (or even when they'll occur)?
I continue to think the The Roots are a strong possibility given the Philly, Jay-Z, D'Angelo connections, but I'm struggling to think of other names that make sense.
I was hoping for Yeasayer (or "Yeasayers" as Hova called them at Coachella) and Grizzly Bear since he supposedly likes both, but it doesn't look like either band's tours cooperate with date/location.
