Wonder who will curate the stage this year? David Byrne bringing Katzenjammer and all the other groups was fantastic, and all of the acts that Gogol brought along were unbelievable.
I'd like to see more foreign acts like last time, but I'm guessing they'll go for something a bit different.
maybe alice cooper will get to curate whatever tent he's in (maynard james keenan said something about him and danzig in a tent) i just figure alice cooper would definitely pick danzig to be there, maybe that's why he's not on the lineup yet
I am hoping Clap Your Hands Say Yeah gets added. They are touring with Two Door Cinema Club so I was surprised they were not included on the original lineup.
Any other opening bands out there for acts that were already announced? I'd think these have a great chance of being added.
Y'all should check the confirmation thread before asking about certain acts. DFA1979 and M83 have already been specifically ruled out. This will help save you from further disappointment.

i emailed death from above myself and posted it in confirmation... they didn't really confirm nor deny, just said no plans yet so I'm still holding out hope

Depending on EDC (god imagine what this lineup would look like if it weren't for that)...
I am PRAYING for A-Trak or other Fool's Gold members to be added due to Danny Brown being booked. Danny Brown is A-Trak's biggest project on the Fool's Gold label and he pushes him very hard. Maybe they were brought in as a combo deal.
But seriously DFA1979 would be amaaaazing. They absolutely stole the show at Lollapalooza last year. Highlight of the weekend for me. If they add DFA1979 then I will fully expect a MSTRKRFT late night set which I would not object to barring any major conflicts.
Considering they are booked for Electric Forest, I could see Thievery Corporation returning this year. They owned late night in 2010.
A SBTRKT, Thievery Corporation, Major Lazer, Flying Lotus late night tent would be complete insanity.
This is also just wishful thinking, but Ratatat should be the big "two years in a row" name this year. Lots of people had to miss their set (myself included) last year due to immense conflicts, but they were generally regarded as having one of the best shows of the weekend. Just like DFA1979 mentioned above, they killed it at Lollapalooza and I think would make a welcome addition to late night.
You could take any two of these names and add them to the lonesome 6th line of the lineup and it would suddenly look muuuuch better than it already does.

I'm sure you're right about this... But I'm hoping for it anyway. I'm already driving up to Tulsa to see him next month, so I guess it won't be too much of a loss. Just the thought of Jack playing guitar in the sun on the farm.... Can't beat it

They've had big additions before. And I honestly think we're due for 1-2 bigger name additions this year. Not headliners, but I think the lineup just kind of....drops off after Bon Iver. Last couple years, even 2010, had much more depth in the top couple lines than this year. Avett Brothers are 6th this year; they were 17th in 2010.

Him and Rob Zombie toured together recently. I don't care what anyone says, I would love to Rob Zombie thrown in the mix...

I think A-Trak is more likely to be at EDC either as himself, Duck Sauce, or with some other Fool's Gold acts. I interned at Fool's Gold last summer and am still in contact with Catchdubs, maybe I'll email and ask if there will be any FG additions? Funny Danny Brown story: I was in charge of putting every song from his mixtape up on youtube, and as I'm doing this, he walks into the office. He's so chill.
I caught DFA1979 and MSTRKRFT at Bisco, it was wonderful. Seen MSTRKRFT quite a bit (also at All Points West '09 and opening for deadmau5 this past November), they never disappoint. I'd be thrilled if both were added.
I missed Thievery Corporation back in '10 due to some conflicts, but I forget who. Jay-Z maybe? Anyway, I'd love to finally see them, too!
