This is a fair point. I'd take PL over a lot of EDM repeats.
I saw half of Pretty Lights last year (half Ratatat too) and would see him again. That being said I'd rather some new stuff come in as it'd be three out of the last four years at Roo. Also, the expected late night bands is pretty crowded as it is.
Unless they decide to start doing more electronic music during the day, which would be very cool. Not a lot, but bands like Little Dragon, Caribou, Hot Chip, and Ratatat could all hold down day time tents. Granted the aforementioned aren't electronic to the degree SBTRKT, Flying Lotus, or Pretty Lights are as they have instrumentalists.
Obviously I'd rather see them late night, but if my electronic late night desires were satisfied I'd be happy to see a few day time electronic acts. It could also open up a few more tents for some post-rock and/or metal?

If you like electronic, one of the best shows I saw at sxsw was Trust. Kicked the crap out of SBTRKT (who was good) in my opinion, way more of a dance party.
Kind of electro goth, a cross between Crystal Castles and Salem. I knew to check them out and was glad I did.
They would be an awesome add and would be a crazy dance party.

Just rechecked Ghostland Observatory's schedule on their website and there still is a HUGE gap around Bonnaroo. I hope this is a good sign! I think they could be a significant add without being too big to be mentioned.

Caribou and Hot Chip need to happen, as well as Holy F@!#
The only possible reason I can think of for AC not booking Caribou (considering they're on tour with Radiohead) is that Friday night is already overbooked with electronic music? It's crazy they're not on the lineup.

Really want this to happen. I was dumb and a little to under the influence and forgot they were at FreeFest last year and ended up missing them:( So it would be awesome if they get added, though i think in the quasi confirmations thread they said no unfortunately.
As for Caribou and Hot Chip, i'm not sure baout hot chip being an add. But i am also confused at Caribou not being there considering being the opener for Radiohead. I wish that one of these three got added, but i'm beginning to wonder how much wishful thinking that actually is.

MOONFACE
They have an album coming out in April then a month long euro tour ending 6/1. They're obviously going to tour the US this summer to support the album, hopefully they can kick that off at Bonnaroo

I think it's quite hysterical that I'm saying this but I never really think of Caribou as "electronic" music. That is not to say that it isn't, I just associate Caribou more with the term experimental than electronic. It is definitely both, I just it found it funny the first thing that popped into my mind was "Caribou is not really electronic"

Talking about strange gaps in tour schedules. Look at JEFF The Brotherhood. This makes me think we'll have something Third Man related at roo. Maybe a Third Man tent/stage theme?

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
