Jack White would make my entire year, but Maiden would be pretty nice. I can't even imagine a Cooper>Maiden late night set. That would be ridiculous and I would never get the smile off my face

I'm also pretty convinced that Santigold will be added. She's making a comeback this year, and Major Lazer is already on the bill (they have a song together, which I saw them do together live at Terminal5 last year when they opened for Miike Snow)

I almost gave up hope of another headliner but beach boys listing the 10th at roo renewed my hope! Hoping it will be daft punk, neil or Eddie vedder! Was also really hoping mastodon and baroness would come back this year...
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I'm not holding out for anyone big (a top 20 act) just a few more mid tier acts and Thursday/Cafe to add to the excitement.
I'm not familiar with everyone on the line-up but I would say that most adds will fill out genres that are currently lacking on the line-up (Reggae, Metal/Heavy, Female singer/song writer, etc).
Personally, I would like to see At The Drive-In (probably too big a name to hope for now), Crystal Castles, Tame Impala (who I thought self confirmed?), Zola Jesus, and someone like Tim Hecker, Nosaj Thing, etc.

Wasn't Prince a late add when he played Coachella a few years back? Clearly the "big act" on Saturday that insider was referring to wasn't Beach Boys. Prince is notorious for being very difficult when it comes to booking, and with the original plan in 2010 being to book Radiohead and Prince it's clear that's something AC/Superfly wants to do. Is there any chance they're still negotiating?
Literally this exact same scenario happened with Coachella with everyone going "Jack Johnson? That's kind of light", similar to how we're saying The Avett Brothers before RHCP seems kind of light. I'm not holding out hope for it or anything just drawing a very similar comparison

well anything is possible. i dont think its likely though. def not gonna get my hopes up for a headliner caliber addition.
Sunday pre-headliner is the absolute perfect slot for The Beach Boys! I'm even more excited for that show now. Anyone else think that we're guaranteed an awesome Beach Boys, RHCP and/or Radiohead cover from Phish now?
The National (w/ Justin Vernon sit-in) Metric Silversun Pickups Lambchop
Yes Kev, The National would put me over the top........and instead of Macca we could root for Dr. Dog (21st century Beatles....I really think this is where Lennon and Mccartney would have gone if they were still together. I think it's weird how the DD has found a unique yet reminiscent Beatles sound) Read more: bonnaroo.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=music&action=display&thread=27604&page=3#ixzz1mUR4gKRE
I really, really don't think there will be a "big" addition. The last time that happened was in 2008, and then the only added Widespread Panic because the Allmans canceled. Prior to that, the only time they've added a headline caliber act late was in 2003 when Neil Young was announced. I think in 2006 (?) Oysterhead was added a little late, but it seems as if the last few yeas the additions have been much smaller (someone who has more inclination than I can look up who/when the additions were in 11,10, 09, etc.).
That being said...I'm kind of getting sucked in to this Iron Maiden thing. They just announced a tour, with Alice Cooper opening. They'd probably be the #4 on the lineup, and I could easily see them playing a late-night What spot after RHCP on Saturday. The top line of the lineup poster could accomodate that name, for sure, and it definitely seemed like insider was hinting that there was another "big" name being worked out for Saturday. We know it's not the Beach Boys, so...
Gah. I shouldn't get all worked up like this.
Could have been The Beach Boys all along. Won't know til Insider clears that bit up. I could see Maiden as a fit with this lineup though.
My guess for biggest add would be a couple tent headliner level acts such as Yonder Mountain String Band and Cage the Elephant as well as a couple acts to flesh out the weak genres a bit. Maybe Danzig, another metal band or two, a world music act, and Infamous Stringdusters.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
She, insider, said "it's amazing how things were NOT finalized" yet with the lineup....hmmm...The Rolling Stones are still in talks/meetings for a tour this summer....If you look at the lineup...there is plenty of space to plug in The Rolling Stones before Radiohead....Saturday = RHCP > Rolling Stones
At The Drive In (biggest somewhat realistic wish) Superjam announced as Atoms For Peace (certainly not out of the realm of possibility) Galactic (expected) James Blake (could be squeezed in there, somewhere) Death From Above 1979 (if no ATDI) Prince (long, long shot)

Dude. It's not happening. Tickets are going on sale on Saturday and they are going to be through the roof without adding The Rolling Stones. If tickets go on sale and nobodies buying then I could see them being added. But that's not the case; this year will sell out like last year. It makes no sense.
