I still don't understand how exactly Spotify is announcing the lineup. Not every band allows their music on Spotify.
And for those who have never heard of or don't have Spotify, man, you're missing out. Greatest music listening service ever by far. Screw Pandora or all those others. I just have the free service but have over 50,000 songs in my account. You pretty much get access to every song ever recorded, as long as the artist allows their music on there.

I wonder how Spotify will do it? It seems silly for them to release it via their twitter account, when they have a whole freakin' music website thing to do it... so I don't think they'll do that. But I don't think Spotify has any sort of streaming radio station functionality, do they? I mostly just use their app, not the full site thing. Any insights/ideas? A single playlist doesn't make sense because then people will just look at it once and then x off Spotify, that's not what they want!
I figure it's the best way to keep traffic going to their site/service for an extended period of time. Similar to 2010 where they had tons of people on MySpace all day long.
I'd prefer a list of the artists and then Spotfiy could be cool and have a playlist with one song from each artist that you can listen to if you want.
Spotify's use of "exclusively" makes me think it's gonna be this, but backwards. We'll get a playlist with one song from each artist, then later in the day we'll get a poster or something. Either way, it'll be all over the boards in a matter of seconds, so I'm not worried at all.

This website seems to think that it will be a playlist containing one song from every artist, but the Spotify post they link to doesn't actually say that. Not sure where they got official word that it's a playlist.
