Nope I know i'm not the only fan. Just because like 10 of you hate him on here doesn't mean i'll be the only one out of 100,000 people.
It's more than 10 of us. I think it's more like you're one of only 10 people registered on this board that actually likes him. So, reverse that.
oh- okay, I see..
Well when there's the 10 of us having the time of our lives watching his show, I don't think I'm gonna give an eff about all the other people that aren't.
no matter where life takes me, find me with a smile presumed to be happy only laughing like a child I never thought life would be this sweet It got me cheesing from cheek to cheek
I'mma feed the world you can put it on my tab Run until my legs go numb, don't plan on looking back Anything you need you can find it at the market Anything you need you can find it at the market

And you shouldnt care about who theres and whose not...if you;re a fan own it. Just saying its not gonna be a packed show. This isnt bamboozle. The best case scenario, he has someone on after him that will draw a crowd waiting for that band.
I never said I cared was there or wasn't. That's my point actually. I don't care if you're there, or any other haters, because I like him. Nobody can change that.
As for those verses ^ sure- maybe they absolutely suck to you. But I bet if you told me somebody you liked I could find some terrible sh!t about them too.
This isn't an argument dude, I'm not trying to fight. It's my opinion, and you have yours. That's it.
EDIT: and why would I want a show that I want to see to be packed?
EDITx2: Oh and- obviously i'm a fan that "owns up to it" or why would I come on a thread where they're thoroughly bashing him, and stand up for him?

I think there will be a decent sized crowd. Plenty of people are going to go to his show even if most of us don't really care on here.

And Im agreeing with you...I just said own it if you like it. You;ll be hard pressed to find anyone with a deep appreciation of hip hop that likes Mac Miller.

decent sized and packed, while subjective, are still not equal
I have a deep appreciation for everything. Bad, good, hip hop, metal.. I just enjoy music.. and Mac miller. Honestly- I don't even really listen to hip hop. Maybe since Mac lives like 2 hours down I-79, I appreciate him.. but you're from Pitt I see too, so i guess i can't use that as an excuse.
To be honest though- if they were going to bring someone from the Burgh, I wish it would've been Wiz.
played a tiny ass venue in Pittsburgh last time he was here...at the height of his popularity in his hometown and a college town. There wont be more people for his set then Wiz's and Wiz's set was hardly packed. But alas, I suppose it depends on the schedule and what bands are surrounding him

Yea like I said 3 pages back, I love this city, and bleed black and gold but I cant even get behind the yinzer status of Mac Miller. You would think the novelty of rapping about Frick Park or Fifth Ave would gimmie some appreciation even if just for the novelty of it, but nope I cant find one song that I can stand.

Tiny ass venue in Pittsburgh where you have to pay for tickets in advance =/= Bonnaroo where 80,000 people are already there and have a chance to see him for free. There are a lot of different factors at play here and just because one show at a tiny venue wasn't well attended doesn't really change anything in regards to Bonnaroo.
edit: I see how Wiz was brought into it. Removed my line asking why that was mentioned.
I think this is the thread where I proposed funeral drinking over seeing Mac Miller in concert.
I don't have anything else to add, just thought I'd reiterate my stance that funerals are more fun than listening to Mac Miller suck balls at the lyrical arts.

Wiz Khalifa was on the What stage during Mumford and Sons ridiculously packed set. I don't think it makes sense to say "There wasn't a lot of people at Wiz Khalifa in 2011 so there won't be a lot of people at Mac Miller in 2012". I fail to really see the correlation.
He sold out the tiny ass venue FTR...the point is if he was such a draw in Pittsburgh (where the height of his fan base is) they wouldve moved him to one of 800 bigger venues. And if you read above I said that the chance of him getting a bigger crowd is due to the fact there will be stragglers stopping by waiting for other shows. And I also said that it will depends on how the schedule falls. You can fail to see the correlation but just because his show is free at Roo doesnt make 80,000 people fans. Just because he has a large fan base doesnt mean they are at Roo. So if Mac Miller ends up going against the Roots it'll be the same scenario right?? Make sure you take a picture of the crowd size while you;re there. Ill be pleseantly surprised if its any bigger then Wiz's

lol calm down.
I never said because it's free that he'll have 80,000 fans. You can talk about Pittsburgh all you want but I really don't think it has any effect on his crowd at Bonnaroo. How do you know there aren't a ton of west coast people who really like Mac Miller and are going to his show? You don't, just like I don't know that it will be a crowded show. We are just discussing different predictions.
Every year there are acts that many of us on here consider terrible or a joke or confused why they are on the lineup but most of the time those acts draw big crowds and surprise people (with the size of their crowd...not the quality of their show). I think that you are underestimating (but I readily admit I could be overestimating) the amount of people that are into Mac Miller and will attend his show at Bonnaroo. Just looking at his name on the Bonnaroo lineup page and there are 4,000 people who added them to their lineup. Now it's not as high as the Roots are but I do think that his show will be well attended.
So if Mac Miller ends up going against the Roots it'll be the same scenario right??
Never said anything like that. Don't know what you expect me to say to this.
Make sure you take a picture of the crowd size while you;re there. Ill be pleseantly surprised if its any bigger then Wiz's
Never said I would be at his show. I guarantee I won't be there.
And I think that Wiz playing on the biggest stage during the day against Mumford and Sons (one of the biggest crowds I've ever seen at Bonnaroo) really doesn't have any connection to the amount of people who will be at the Mac Miller show (which will most likely be in a tent).
Oh....and that Wiz Khalifa show that was "hardly packed"?
Looks mighty crowded to me.....though it may feel differently if you're in the crowd.
lol I dont need to calm down the last thing that would ever get me worked up would be whether there will be people at a Mac Miller show or not.
How do you know there aren't a ton of west coast people who really like Mac Miller and are going to his show?
I dont but just came from the West Coast with a camping group of 30 at Coachella and noone knew who mac Miller was except the 3 people from CT. Thats why I said the schedule will make all the difference.
I was in the pit for the Wiz show there was noone up front. You dont think the fact the Black Keys played after him had anything to do with the crowd size there?
lol I dont need to calm down the last thing that would ever get me worked up would be where there will be people at a Mac Miller show or not.
Good...I didn't want this back and forth to be seen as fighting....I just think we're expecting different things.
absolutely not fighting...I guess we'll just have to see how the crowd plays out in 40 days...Ill be the first to admit if Im wrong with under estimating.
I was in the pit for the Wiz show there was noone up front.
So the pit wasn't packed in like sardines.....that doesn't mean the show was "hardly packed" when you look at the amount of people that were there. Just looking at this photo and I can see plenty of people in and out of the pit for this show.
When I first read your posts about the Wiz show I expected a LOT less people would be in the crowd.

No there was actually a 5-8 foot gap between the back of the pit and the rail with noone in it...most room Ive ever had in a pit for a semi-major performer. It defintely didnt feel like there were that many people at the show. Ill have to find my pics I took on my camera cuz I turned around in the pit and took a shot of people behind me and there was definitely alot more grass then heads.
Haha now I have to make an appearance at the god damn show just to see whose right.
absolutely not fighting...I guess we'll just have to see how the crowd plays out in 40 days...Ill be the first to admit if Im wrong with under estimating.
We won't know. Neither of us will be there ;D
Guys I just wanted to commend how admirably you both handled that situation. Although I've never seen ITM throw a punch at anyone on the board, I swear I thought he was about to go off. But you both came to a reasonable conclusion that is rarely seen around these parts

When I see a picture like that, it makes me wonder if the majority of the crowd thinks the pit is for VIP so they don't even bother with it. This misunderstanding is very advantageous.
