Guilty pleasure time... I still listen to this every once in a while. Title of Record was one of my most listened to (then) new albums at the time, I thought it was considerably better than Short Bus, which I found really one-note and boring. Patrick really showed some vocal talent on this album that impresses me to this day... but it still kind of has that slight scent of nu-metal of the time, though not an overwhelming one. I tried the album they put out after this and hated it, haven't checked out anything they've done since.
And Fred, was that your first experience with Laibach? Their Beatles tribute Let It Be is one of the most interesting oddities of a record I've ever listened to.

Yeah, that was the first time I've listened to them. I like this album so much that I listened to the whole thing 4-5 times over the weekend. If I ever fed up with this album, I want to check their other releases. I'll keep Let It Be in mind. What's your favorite(s) Laibach album?

I never really fell in love with their stuff the quite the way I did with some of their contemporaries, so I haven't listened to all of their stuff, honestly. However, they are among the OGs of the scene, so I have respect for the work. They are one of those acts I've intended to revisit, but haven't gotten around to it. Of what I've heard, Let It Be is what I revisit the most... Opus Dei was quite good, though. I always forget about that one. I'll check out the new one since you liked it so much.

I was a huge fan of Filter in Jr. High and the early years of High School. So much so, that I waited behind a venue after seeing them and got the CD sleeves of Title of Record and Short Bus signed by Patrick. He was a pretty cool dude and was extremely grateful that I had both his CDs at the time(this was when Napster was taking off). He said, "Good man, both my records paid for", then signed both of them. However, I stopped following Filter's work after Title of Record. And I agree that Title of Record is a superior album to Short Bus.
