if its your first mmj listen, I wouldn't necessarily start here. if you want to stay studio stuff, I would start with It Still Moves or Z. Okonokos is a live album they put out, and it is most excellent. I don't necessarily recommend people start with live albums for most bands, but MMJ its ok because they excel in the live setting, and are sorta "pseudo jam" if you will.
Thanks for the advice. I listened to Circuital last night and actually enjoyed it. I think I'm just gonna start with whatever their first album (live or not) is on spotify and eventually work my way through the entire catalog. Then I'll feel better judging whether or not I'd give them a shot if they were to come to Bonnaroo like so many people want lol.

THEN listen to "At Dawn", and you'll come up on "Bermuda Highway" and everything will make sense. It is OK to cry when this happens.
