Anyone on here vegetarian? I'm looking at making the switch and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for recipes. Please and thanks !
Vegetarian cooking is always so overwhelming because everyone approaches it as "OH NO! NO MEAT! What do I doooooo!?" Here's what you do, approach it backwards. Let's say your favorite dish is lasagna. If you take out the sausage, it's vegetarian. So look at all your favorite meals and just don't add the meat. Experiment with protein substitutes and use those instead of the suggested animal protein.
Same goes for stock. Just sub veggie stock for chicken or beef. And make your own. It's so easy and you get the most out of the vegetables.
Tofu Stir-Fry - usually I just use frozen peas and corn instead of the other veggies
Risotto - pretty easy to adapt it to be vegetarian/vegan
Chili - also pretty easy to adapt any recipe, just hold the meat and use more beans
Quinoa
Curry - There are so many different ways of making curry and you can add whichever vegetables you want in it. Especially broccoli. Never really used a recipe to make curry, but here's something to get you started. It's a little complex but if you want me to give you instructions on how to make an easier curry I'll type it out.
Some of my recommendations:
There's nothing wrong with fake meat, but I'd recommend going light on any fake meat products. They won't ever taste quite like the real thing and they're pretty expensive. If you stick to lots of beans, rice, and vegetables then being veggie can be super fulfilling, cheap, and healthy.
Get a rice cooker if you don't have one already.
Tacos. Seriously there are so many taco varieties that I eat more types of tacos as a vegan than I ever did as a meat eater. Usually pinto beans and cilantro lime rice make some good tacos, but there are lots of other things to do.
Gelatin is not vegetarian. Avoid this stuff.
If you're rich and live near a P.F. Chang's, they will substitute tofu for any meat.
Taco Bell is surprisingly good for vegetarian fast food. Don't bother stepping foot into a McDonald's.

I found my wife laughing hysterically after almost mortally wounding myself taking down a crib.
By "laughing hysterically", I mean she was doubled over, pointing at me, laughing. I was pretty sure I had lost half my foot. When I asked her why she laughed, she replied "I'm sure it was karma".
This says a lot about two things.
1) My marriage and how we handle crisis 2) never use a handsaw to take a crib down.

Tidal is underrated. It has videos, full track credits, a bunch of exclusive content, and they pay artists more. The app used to suck but that's gotten a lot better, it's even compatible with Chromecast now.

The app being garbage is why I gave up on it the first go around. Have they made it so you can drag and drop songs into playlists now?

Not that I'm aware of. The phone app has definitely gotten more user friendly though IMO.
