I eat oatmeal more than I care to admit and sometimes bagels. On the weekends I will make breakfast, usually omelets or eggs in a basket if I don't have fresh cut up creole seasoning (holy trinity: onions, bell peppers, celery).
I tend to get hangry... so there are those days I have to have something for breakfast. My go-to would be plain cheerios. A banana for something lighter. Plain cheerios with banana if I'm extra hungry. Or a bagel with cream cheese if I'm all cheerio-ed out.
I will do fruit or yogurt or a combo of both. Oatmeal is the easiest, but I do love a bagel with some creamcheese. As far as hangry, the minute I get hungry that is what happens. Sometimes not as bad as others, but I have to eat if I am hungry or I am a bitch...bigger bitch (?).

Sometimes I don't realize I'm being a jerk until JR asks if I need to eat... Then I give him the look of death and he asks what I want to eat.

S'mores pop tarts were the perfect snack for when I woke up ravenous in the middle of the night in my first trimester. I'd eat one and pass back out nice and happy into a mild sugar coma.

Oh, PopTarts are like the worst thing you can put in your body but sometimes you're trapped in an airport for 10 hours and need to stress eat some sugar.
Oh the topic of eggs though: Heat pan, add butter, crack egg in pan, season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, sprinkle a pinch or five of Parmesan on top, flip egg and cook to over medium. Put that on some toast with a drizzle of sriracha and maple syrup (REAL maple syrup), if you please.

That sounds great! I might leave off the syrup though... (Hmm... No Pop-Tarts, leave off the syrup...? I think my sweet tooth is missing).

There's a decided lack of bacon grease in your recipe. #country4lyf
I bought tickets for Foo Fighters this morning. I've never had good luck with arena shows at all really other than getting floor for Radiohead this year. My sister and brother-in-law are going with us so we decided to get the cheapest priced tickets. I chose best available and got seats but didn't look at where they were while I was at work. It's on the top freaking row and there are many seats available in lower rows in the same section. I'm wondering if/why it seems like best available started at the top of section? Can anyone make any sense of that? I've been in this exact spot before when I saw Pearl Jam with custeph and Brad. I mean, you can see the whole stage up there, but it's so high up. Is it really best available though?
Often being in the cheap seats, they will put the last few rows of the upper deck as its own price level, and the first half of the upper deck at a different price level.
Speaking of cheap seats, $60 for the cheap seats at A Perfect Circle at Mohegan is disappointing. Was hoping it would be around $40.

I wish I still had a picture of the beaker of bacon drippings we kept.
It was a project between me (the culinary student), Boyfriend (the chemist/physicist), and his roommate (the biochemical engineer). It had to have been at least a liter of bacon drippings that we sealed with cling wrap and aluminum foil then let settle out over the course of a few months on the kitchen counter.

Yeah, my ma kept that shit in a jar for months at a time, for cooking purposes.

Mohegan is always expensive. Part of my hesitancy.
Also, those of you who know me well know that I get the opposite of hangry. I do well with little to no food in my belly. If you feed me, I get tired, lethargic, grumpy... my ideal festival food would be a simple chicken on a stick. Quick calorie and protein punch, but not filling.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

EDIT: Just the chicken on a stick. Once.
like a whole chicken or a spiedie type deal without the bread?

Chicken satay at the Thai places. They usually just call it chicken on a stick. It's usually a thigh or two. Well-seasoned. No bread or anything although you can usually buy it as a meal with noodles and all that. I just get the chicken.

I second this motion. I keep a glass container with bacon grease at the ready for cooking. I use it in everything.

Unsweetened Tea, sweetie (I don't drink tea at all, except Arnold Palmer and hot tea, that other shit is gross) at least in New Orleans. Always, unsweetened.
I hate talking on the phone. I hate getting calls. I hate having to call people.
Anyone else?
i hate calling people the most. If my doctors could get on the online booking train, that would be great.
Luckily my doctor is my friend/teammate. I text her. She will tell me if I HAVE to call and make an appointment. Usually she just calls in a prescription for me.
