Well technically I do mix some refried beans into the meat before it's done, so you might be onto something. I don't have chips though, so I'll just say im eating Nacho base. sounds better.
Especially if you throw some cheese (and/or sour cream) on that shit! Sounds YUMMY!

I cut the cord. I don't know when anything comes on anymore. I get notifications for new episodes on my collection, but couldn't tell you what days they come on... Except fear/walking dead and game of thrones. Oh and Gotham.

There's a handful of shows I watch "on time" just to avoid spoilers or if I'm really into it. Otherwise I'm mostly in "catch up" mode most of the time.

My school's wifi blocks anything that students frequently visit that they don't think is necessary. I've been on inforoo so much that they blocked it lol

Kids these days...when I was in school cell phones were prohibited, and IT had remote access to our laptops and could monitor all activity and take over full control. I played a lot of Phoenix on my calculator.

When I was in (high) school, cell phones were the size of a brick and it cost about a gazillion dollars to make a phone call. Most people rocked beepers (with a chain if you were cool). There was no IT you were lucky if you had dial-up, we had to run/learn DOS programs in computer lit and we would play Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on a floppy disk.

Do you ever think about the random people you didn't keep touch with from the farm? I met a dude waiting for die antwoord who shared some space and was completely convinced they wouldn't come on due to ninjas cancelling the NY show before. I bet that show was even more meaningful to him because he was so convinced they'd pass us by.
Also, I went to sigur ros with a few people I didn't know, and that is one of my favorite memories on the farm. It's crazy how that works out sometimes.

I met a guy late night 2015 who said I was the coolest person he had ever met and he was going to buy me a MacBook Pro. Would be great if he fulfilled that commitment.
Just was the first person to stop and help after a car hit an old man.
He was conscious and breathing but somewhat unresponsive. Good amount of blood. Face battered and swollen. May have lost teeth. It took a lot of talking and gesturing to get him to stay on the ground. Someone nearby had called 911 just as I pulled over and got out. Fortunately, a couple of nurses turned up relatively quickly and I ceded the situation to them, and then the police and fire and EMTs came. They boarded and collared him. Driver was in shock, could barely string a sentence together.

in 2004 I was woefully unprepared, and then the rains hit and my camp was basically destroyed. The dudes next to us were these retired old deadheads who had been on a cross country camping trip. They had rig in the bed of their truck that doubled as a camp kitchen and sleeping quarters thing...they'd been hitting up national parks and stuff for over a month. They shared their food and supplies with us...great old dudes.
another dude camped next to us that year was there by himself. He didn't know what he wanted to do with his life, but he said he wanted to go back to Auburn and start a service helping people. His idea was people would call a hotline with their problem, and he would find a way to help them fix it. Not like a suicide hotline or anything, but like...can't find your dog or need your gutters cleaned or something. I don't think he'd worked out all the details.
somewhere my friend has a book that chronicles all the people we have met through the years and the crazy shiz people have said.

I ran into someone in 2015 who asked me to write a quote in their book, though honestly I recall the thought in my head being more inspiring than the chicken scratch I left scribbled there.

That's funny you say that because Auburn actually has something like that. Anyone can call the Foy Information Desk (334-844-4244) 24 hours a day and they'll try to help you answer any question you may have.
I think it started in the 50's though so... he's a little late to the game.
