Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
It may be an age gap thing, but teenage nerds in the late 90s should all remember Milla Jovovich.
Or her in Dazed and Confused (1993) although all of her speaking parts were removed leaving just this song:
She says hey and erg or something before that scene, but yeah, the singing is her only speaking lines. I fucking love her. Was Resident Evil on that list? It should be.

OMG Parker Posey in that movie, such a babe.
Ok piggies, FRY! FRY like bacon... <3 <3
I absolutely LOVE Parker Posey, Party Girl and the House of Yes are the best. House of Yes, is actually one of my all time favorite movies, regardless of Tori Spelling and Freddy Price Jr. I am going to have to watch that tonight while crafting.

Don't look up what he looks like now. The years have not been kind.
He's still Pink, which means he's still the coolest kid in school and friends with everyone and the QB of the football team but on HIS TERMS man! God I love him.

I have literally watched this movie over a hundred times. Jeremy and I watched it again just recently. For the first time ever, I noticed that the belt buckle Pink is wearing at the bowling alley/bar/hangout spot was a bowl. While Matthew "Wooderson" McConaughey was doing his speech about girls staying the same age, Pink takes off his belt buckle hits it and puts it back. I had never noticed him doing that in all my previous viewings.
When someone says something horrible or stupid, but when called out on it say "geez i was just joking":
What you're talking about is Schrodinger's Douchebag. Someone who arbitrarily and without reservation will say the most offensive and heinous shit that is simultaneously their "honest opinion" and "just a joke" until acknowledged by an outside force.

So was Pink a football specialist or a 3 sport star? I like to think he was the captain and point guard on the basketball team, and probably a starting pitcher who moonlighted in right field on his off days. He probably couldn't hit for too much power but got on base a fair amount, but not enough to convince someone that his future was as a hitter.
Then I think he got drafted into the Army and fled to Winnepeg.

I think that you are looking way too deeply into a movie character.

Well we know he played baseball also because he gets chummy with Mitch and says a group of seniors waited for him after practice when he was a freshman to give him a paddlin'

True. He also could have been a wrestler instead of a basketball player. They probably didn't have a natatorium at his high school at the time so swimming/diving is out.

Track bro
Not in the winter though, if they didn't have a natatorium they certainly didn't have an indoor track. This was still a time when schools spent money on instruction and not being sports palaces.

It takes place in Texas
I guess I don't know Texas high school sports calendars; do they have outdoor track in the winter?

Which was all about football and those other sports and willing to spend money on those things.

Why would it have to be winter? Track is off season for football, and it is a common crossover sport for a lot of the skill positions.
Plus they were in Texas, it ain't cold in winter they don't need an indoor track.

The average weather in Houston (used because they reference it, "drive up to Houston tomorrow for those Aerosmith tickets") in January is above 50 degrees, why would you need an indoor track?
