do you ever like a band but think they're kinda boring at the same time?
I've got a lot of bands that I like but then start to not care about. It usually takes a good show or a new song I like to remind me why I liked them so much to begin with.
just a thought I had while listening to Interpol. I like them, but they're kinda boring.

Google Play used to have a free song of the day and it changed it to one a week. I noticed today that it was a free album for the week. I hope they offer up some good albums before they change it to something else.

Next release is slated to be Free Donut JPG of the week. It's in their dev notes.

The selection has been hit or miss and the free album this week is Katy Perry. That may be considered an upgrade.
you know what's awesome? Peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
There are quite a few British teachers at my school and apparently this isn't a thing across the pond. The concept of putting PB on everything is pretty foreign. So needless to say I turned them onto PB&Banana sandwiches and they've not stopped thanking me since.

Another excellent thing to slather with peanut butter is ice cream sandwiches. So great.

I was thinking about Bonnaroo's Funkiest Dancer for some reason. I have decided that if they are going to do stuff like that they should at least do it right. Also, I just generally need this in my life.

I would never even think to try that. Is it on one side? Do you break the sandwich in half and put pb in the middle? Creamy or crunchy? Have you tried it with nutella?

I put it on one side. I went with creamy but crunchy would work as well. Never tried it with Nutella but that is a genius idea.

I must buy ice cream sandwiches and nutella now. I have sunbutter so I could try that instead of pb.
My better half and I have decided that we're both going to leave our jobs at the beginning of October, sell our possessions, pack up what we have and drive. Go wherever and do whatever. There is no concrete plan. We've both decided that this is what life should be at this point. We're sick of waking up every morning for our dull jobs, sick of this town, and we need change. This is the single most exciting thing that has ever happened in my entire life. We're going to travel for months, maybe even a year, for as long as we can. If there is anyone here kind enough to lend us a floor along the way or a backyard for our tent we would be so grateful. Whether it's for one night or for two weeks. I can repay you with a serenade and our wonderful company. Really, I'd just love to spend some time with any of you if we can.
As of now our loose itinerary is as follows:
Nashville, Pensacola, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Colorado, Tucson, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Northern California, Portland, Seattle.
Good luck! Keep us updated!
OK, small aside: In the small time I've been here, I've gotten the sense that Inforoo is, for the most part, a group of halfway decent human beings.

This is a good thing.
I don't think you know what this word means.
But hey thanks and I'll make sure to post updates!

I overheard a conversation this morning my 6yo was having with my 8yo. "To me, blood looks like red velvet juice." I just walked away. I didn't even want to know.

Is PB reasonably priced over there? When I lived in Paris, PB was offered in some international aisles at grocery stores for some crazy absurd price for the smallest jar. Anytime someone visited me, they brought me a couple jars in their suitcase. I just saw on FB that Belgian Torpedo's wife just returned to Belgium (from the US) with 7 pounds of PB in her bag.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I think most peanuts are grown outside of Europe.
Si. I knew they didn't grow in Europe, but it never occurred to me that peanut butter was a thing in other countries like Thailand. I am aware of the nut's popularity over there (as I eat/cook Thai regularly), but I just had never heard of peanut butter being used. I suppose it makes sense though. bansheebeat what do they usually eat it on/with?
This list is interesting: Country Production (million metric tons)
People's Republic of China 14.30 India 6.25 United States 2.34 Nigeria 1.55 Indonesia 1.25 Burma 1.00 Sudan 0.85 Senegal 0.71 Argentina 0.58 Vietnam 0.50 World 34.43
EDIT: To connect my two posts- since I don't equate Thailand with being peanut butter eaters, I didn't think about the fact that they could make their own and not be importing.
