On my post. No I don't grow wasabi but I would like to learn. If anyone has ever done it or knows anything about it, let me know. I've surfed a bit about it eh ... cr****
The 1/2 lb it shows is about $65!!!!. That's crazy but really good restaurants pay the price. Oh BTW, it's real fresh wasabi if you don't recognize it ...
You grow that yourself? Locally sourced food is ALL the rage around these parts. I make a decent penny on the side selling organic gourmet mushrooms (trumpet, chanterelle, enoki, oyster) to chefs in my area. I'm attempting to grow Morels, those things are worth their weight in gold, crazy expensive, but I won't know until spring if I did it right. Fingers crossed.
I'm gonna pick yr brain for some techniques. Also, if the morels do well, save a few for me. I'm always on the lookout while hiking.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
How crazy would it be if this was me? I just decided to google my name today.
You kidnapped someone? You're in a gang? I feel like I don't even know you anymore.
I feel like I lost myself along the way. As a child, I never thought I'd be a kidnapping gang member and I really didnt think I would ask someone to get in the car and just leave when they refused. Sub-par kidnapping skillz.

My little sister and brother-in-law refer to themselves as vegan, but they "occasionally eat chicken, fish, and goat cheese," and today, he posted on Facebook about how much he likes hunting and fishing. I don't think they actually understand what it means to be vegan.
Threw together a quick trip this weekend to New Orleans to start off my spring break. Will get to head down Friday, and unexpectedly found out there was an Alabama Shakes concert going on down the street from our hotel. We're going with the VIP upgrade to get the open bar and soul food buffet. Pumped about this spur of the moment trip turning out so well.
On a related note, anyone ever seen Michael Kiwanuka or Sam Doores & Riley Downing? They will be opening, listened to a few things and like both, just curious if anyone had heard them live.

the term is flexitarian . and generally these people have to get off their high horse. in the most loving way I can say it being a pescetarian (fish) who ends up eating mostly veggies. Treat your animals right - eat your meat.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Kiwanuka was at roo last year. Some of my friend were into him.
Damn. See this is the thing I most regret about last year. I decided to go late, and really only went for the headliners and some bigger acts. Glad this year I'm going through trying to find music I may not have heard before. That way I'll at least know what I like and want to make an effort to see.
Quesarito: a burrito with a quesadilla as the wrap/shell. You can ask for it at any Chipotle and they will make it. It's not on the menu, but they are trained to make it upon request.
It's f*cking gross in all the right ways.
So is this one tortilla folded, with the cheese melted and then opened back up and filled? Or is it two full tortillas with cheese in between, made into a huge quesadilla and then filled on top like a burrito?

1) Despite my better judgement, part of me wants to click on the link for that Annie Clark picture @ntellier85 posted. 2) I just figured out that there is now multiple pages to "Recent Threads". I may never look through the actual forums again.
