I miss waking up early on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday in college and reviewing the drunken away messages on AIM. I would make sure to save their auto-response as my away message before they woke up from their stupor and erased it.

It made me laugh a lot. The emotion you were trying to express towards inforoo being undercut by silly mispellings (that still made the comment readable if nonsensical) made me lose it.

I miss waking up early on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday in college and reviewing the drunken away messages on AIM. I would make sure to save their auto-response as my away message before they woke up from their stupor and erased it.
I like how girls in my high school would spend hours carefully crafting an AIM profile that no guys would ever spend any time reading.
I don't know much about anything but say Texas were to actually secede. What would happen to their Electoral College votes?
They'd be wiped clean and the GOP would lose elections until the Democrats had a Bush-ian administration.
Texas would become more overcrowded than a city bus during rush hour, basically.
Then there's THIS guy, who says California and NY should secede "so the rest of the states can stay in the union," except they're not the states talking about leaving said union:

They are all a huge blemish on the state that once upon a time had great Democratic leadership. While the Tea Party claims to be so patriotic it seems very un-American to me to react this way to the nation's vote.

I 100% agree with this, and don't want it to seem like I picture every Texan as a gun-toting lunatic who hates Obama, so sorry if it came off that way.

I was in Dallas a few weeks ago. I can't think of any other major U.S. city I'd rather live in less. The bubble weirds me out.
