We work today. I tried to explain that the city would be shut down, kids have no school and that it would difficult to actually do stuff to the UPM. He looked at me like I was crazy and basically ignored me. Today he is complaining about all of those things and how he couldn't grab breakfast on his way in this morning.

Actually the real joke here is probably that I have two different Phish spreadsheets bookmarked so I can download whatever show I want at a moment's notice (including streams).
Just a reminder to listen to your Mum. Dad always had crap taste in music.
My dad stopped listening to music altogether about 20-25 years ago.
Mine didn't quit (so to speak), He just stopped listening to new music in the 80's. I couldn't imagine a life without music so I just assume everyone does that.
He used to sing me Led Zeppelin tunes as lullabies. Add that to the list of shit I'll never forgive him for.
Two things. First, I think there was a study that was posted on inforoo a few years back that discussed how most people stop looking for new music around the age of 32.
Second, Kelly Manners is our producer and I heard him say something about when he was working on Angel. So, I IMDB'ed him and he was the producer for Buffy, Angel AND Dollhouse. Sad it wasn't Firefly also, but now I am trying to figure out ways to bring up Buffy with him. He already loves me, but I don't want to weird him out. So I figure Buffy screensaver and maybe some of my favorite Buffy quotes on the wall?

Too much?
Buffering The Vampire had some great ideas for Buffy tattoos in the episode I'm currently listening to (2.14 Innocence) if you want to go all in.

Is that the breakdown of EACH episode podcast? Or a different one? I mean, don't think I haven't thought about getting a Buffy tattoo before. While thejeremy wasn't home, I put up floating walls and made a Buffy wall in our living room (autographed poster and all).
Kelly talks to me regularly about regular bullshit, I just want him to talk to me about Buffy. I told him HI and he told me he wished he was. Destiny is at play here.
Schoeps - Microphone company, the specific model he indicated is a small condenser mic with a super cardoid pattern 24bits - Instead of 16b which is generally what you receive your music in unless you have up-ticked your system to 48k-96k/24b 96khz - Standard ranges from 44.1k (most music) to 96k (often used in sfx and high end mixing)

That last line sounded way crazy to me after I wrote it... but fuck it, all the chips are on the table now.
Yeah. I'm a few seasons behind because I didn't start until after The West Wing Weekly finished but one of the hosts, Jenny Owen Youngs, also host the Veronica Mars Investigations podcast that I'm very much enjoying so I decided to check it out. They also do an original song about each episode of Buffy and it's a really impressive feat.

Just don't say anything for a day or two and if he asks, mime that the gentlemen stole your voice
finally got my "top %" notification. it was within the app when i switched back to the home screen, but my hand was in motion and i almost immediately swiped it away, so i didn't even see what artist it was.
So. This is my 10,000th post. And I just wanted to say, I really love you guys. And I miss you all bunches. Joining this board literally changed my life. Which sounds super weird and lame to say.
Hopefully I can see most of you when I’m back in 2021. If not at Roo at PPC. If not at either then maybe I’ll just make a special trip to see those whom I deem worthy.
