Over in London for the Jaguars game. Literally just looking at the outside of Abbey Road Studios makes me tear up.
Despite my well documented feelings about them, I love this post. People getting to have that kind of connection with something that has been a big part of their life is great. When I went to universal, I could have watched people seeing Diagon Alley for the first time all week.
Beyond the beatles, there was a ton of other legendary stuff recorded / mastered there from Pink Floyd to Radiohead. But yeah I was mainly talking about the beatles full discography.
Odd question, but does anyone have a copy of Live from Bonnaroo 2003 as a digital download? I realize its age, I've had a copy of it since before I went to my first roo and it's finally aged to the point of no return. I have found a few copies online for sale, but am wondering if anyone here has a torrent or link for digital. My research hasn't found as much as I was hoping for, sadly. Maybe I'm just bad at finding good torrents, or bad at googling?

The Warren Haynes set?
It was a promotional CD they sent out with the 04 tickets I think, compilation CD with several artists.

They did not send out promotional cd's of live tracks from 03 with 04 tickets. There was a Sweet Sounds compilation given out when you arrived in 04. (I think 05 too.)
I'm not sure if there was a Sweet Sounds given out in 03, though. There was a live cd to go along with the 03 DVD, though. Is that what you're looking for?

The best I could find is the 2010 Best of Bonnaroo with sets from Wilco, Pearl Jam, Death Cab, Fuel, Phish, Gov't Mule, MMJ, Guster, moe., etc. and I think there was a group of tracks they gave us in 2008 too that I have pieces of. I miss the taping community and wish they could get releases again for certain songs to be tracked and released again. Though I get their is non monetary incentive in that within the marketplace.
Speaking on that - I would pay an extra 10$ in ticket price, if it included a "we will send out a Best of Bonnaroo disc after the festival" or here is the best of the previous few years. It's simple and stupid but the 10 dollar bump will not affect most people's purchasing choices and will appease a base of people.
They did DVD's for 02, 03, 04, 08 and 09. Live CD's for 02 - 04. They did some live releases for 05 as part of the Krewe of Roo, I believe, as well as a different DVD. They also released a live digital sampler in 09.

There was a stand alone live album in 2003 separate from the DVD. I got you Tainted Opossum

I just got a new Mac. Because Catalina killed my 7 year old piece of shit. God Damn this thing is fast.
Welcome to the 21st century bitch!
I'm angry they just discontinued Win7's service updates; because it means I'll need to move to Windows 10 --- which looks like shit, but runs like butta.

You can download something called Classic Shell to run Windows 10 with the Windows 7 skin. I used it on my work computer when they upgraded our computers and it ran totally fine.

By the way you are right but I'm more crunchy about having to pay for the Win10 update than anything else. I know it'll have to happen but I would rather buy hardware than software these days. The real difference is that it does a better job with anything use a 64-bit model which is just undeniable if you've used it on a notebook computer.

Oh yea, well, paying for the software is a bummer for sure.
No matter how questionable S05 and S06 of Community are.... Every paintball episode is just fucking amazing.
first, i agree, every paintball episode is amazing.
but imo the only season that is questionable is season 4 (gas leak season). maybe i could handpick an episode or two from season 4 that had some heart, but it's crazy to me how the magic missing that year. i'd go several minutes without so much as a chuckle. here were all these characters i loved but it just felt so stiff and dry.
while an argument can be made that s5 and s6 aren't as good as s1-3, i think they did a damn good job of maintaining the world, adding to the canon, keeping the laughs coming, and tugging on heartstrings, despite the departure of key characters and the additions of new ones. and two very good things did come from characters leaving: the addition of Frankie, who fit in right away, and writers leaning harder on the Dean, who IMO is the best character on the show.
one of my favorite jokes in the show is from the paintball episode with Sawyer from Lost, when Jeff keeps interjecting reasons why Sawyer isn't that handsome.
Can I be perfectly honest with you guys? I think I went to far with this one. I have to go to the bank today. What am I supposed to tell people in line? I had good news and bad news? Come on, Craig. Get your life together.

S04 has some terrible episodes. But the more off-brand stuff felt natural still in S04. Also Donald Glover is still just gold, with some forced expectations that we know now politically had to do with trying to keep him and spin him off. In the end, Dan Harmon being forced to leave, them basically having to kill Pierce and then add characters is what fucks with the quality of the episodes.
I do believe that Frankie, gets underdeveloped in that S06 but could be the more interesting part of an actual Community movie.
I'm all about an actual Community movie. or two if that just makes more sense (i.e. Netflix)

I loved Community throughout the whole run. It has weak spots (like Office and Parks & Rec) but as a whole I think it's one of the best sitcoms in a while. I really liked the final season, too. The changes in cast the later years definitely made things a bit weird but I think they handled it and adapted nicely. I really like Elroy and Frankie as characters. And always wanted more from Buzz Hickey
So I wanted to share something I've been working on the last few months. My friends and I are shooting a live music web series in my backyard and I just posted the first episode today! This has been a really important creative outlet for me since my TV show got canceled in June so it feels really good to put it out in the world. I even learned to run sound for this thing.
If anyone has any tips for posting to YouTube or growing a social audience, I am all ears! Or if you have a band or know someone in Atlanta that wants to play, send me a message!
