Am I weird for finding Muse to be boring? Not saying they suck; just that it’s boring
Since 2010 been saying Muse isn't untalented, it's just so painfully boring. And not in the sleep through The Police or too many hours of Bruce and Phish boring; I'm talking "would I even have the motivation to be near centeroo at that point??"
Steve Harvey is dumb. Thinks atheists are idiots and have no moral barometer because they don't believe in God. "If we evolved from monkeys, why we still got monkeys?". Then all the sexist/gender stuff.
Also, can't watch family feud because it all seems faked/set-up just to have a "Dirty" answer so Steve can have a reaction and the clip can go viral.
That's basically like saying lizards evolve quickly, so there must be known of those original lizards!!

I do have to admit that I’m not entirely sure where the name Blade Runner comes in. I didn’t make any connection between that and the story. Maybe I missed the connection though. But going in I did not know it was about artificial life. I thought it was about smuggling some futuristic shit. I don’t know how I went my whole life not knowing at least that about it.
Ford’s character is a replicant. Zero doubt in my mind.
It explained what a blade runner is in the star wars like intro. Speaking of Star Wars, we've watched 3 Harrison Ford movies recently that I had never seen. Blade Runner>Raiders of the Lost Ark>Empire Strikes Back. I also believe he's a replicant.
How the fuck have you never seen those movies before?

I purposefully avoided Star Wars, probably saw Indiana Jones before but can't remember, never heard of Blade Runner till the new one came out.
The Decker-is-a-replicant is something that Scott came up with after the fact, re-cut the movie to change, and adds nothing to the story, anyway. Actually, I'd say it takes away from the impact of Batty's mercy towards Decker.

Holy cow, man, Indiana Jones is the baddest of all bad asses. I wanted to be him when I was a kid still want to be him.
I guess my parents didn't watch many movies. I mean I've known what Star Wars and Indiana Jones was but don't remember ever seeing it. Then it got to a point where I almost went out of my not to see it. We did go see the last Indiana Jones movie in the theater and I fell asleep.

This isn't true. He did recut it to make it more ambiguous, some would say obvious, but this was argued in pre-production as well according to Ford and Scott. The screenwriter talks like his goal was to keep it ambiguous. He seems against it but doesn't deny it as a possibility, which reinforces the fact this was in the cards all along.
I don't think it effects the ending as much as detractors claim because Batty doesn't' know either way. He still shows the human quality of mercy. It still reinforces the idea that there is becoming less and less difference between androids and humans.
Random and money as fuck. I was watching Action Bronson’s unnamed show episode with Emeril and Big Freedia. Big Freedia made booty poppin potatoes which I have had. And Emeril made gumbo, frogs legs and his signature banana cream pudding. Shit was looking good. Friend pops in with leftovers of Emeril’s desserts including banana foster king cake monkey bread with some type of whiskey sauce, a s’mores ice cream sandwich and yeah, banana cream pudding. I think the graham cracker smashed banana crust is bomb as fuck. Damn. Luck. Random. Happy too.

Tell that to RedLetterMedia, I guess. They lied to me.

I thought that sounded familiar. I watched it a couple months ago. Yeah, they didn't research very well for that piece. But to be fair it's probably one of the most over discussed topics in sci-fi. Lots of misinformation out there. I think it would be fair to say he grew a lot more attached to the idea over time but it was discussed from the get go.

I guess I’m weird
They're all good musicians, and I can respect that. The singer/guitarist can write some great licks and play the guitar like nobody's bidness. The bass licks are also super head-bobby...

Gotta start making some decisions soon, regarding festivals and shows.
Here's what I'm debating on:
5/4-5/6 - Shaky Knees (maybe)
5/25-5/27 - Boston Calling (maybe, but leaning towards yes)
6/1-6/3 - Governors Ball (thinking maybe just a one-day for Jack but even that is pushing it if I do BC. Don't care about the other nights)
6/15-6/17 Mountain Jam (also a maybe day pass thing. Don't have too many to go camping with but if Saturday or Sunday looks solid I could make the trip.
7/13-7/15 - Forecastle (this and Shaky Knees are battling it out for me. Would love to do both but not sure I can swing it for money/travel/lodging and all that)
7/27-7/29 - Newport Folk Festival (definite. Got a ticket. Missed last year because of health shit. Not missing this year).
