I remember kdogg giving me a Miller Lite. Though he was boycotting at the time, "it was free" so he didn't care.
Hey now, I don't just boycott that horse piss solely on account of their political donations. I also boycott that horse piss because I'm a beer snob and it's horse piss.
I'll probably have rotten tomatoes thrown at me for saying this, but I think all beer sucks.

if you do a search for 3 headed babies, shit comes up. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. School used to warn us about the dangers of drugs when I was little. 4 arms, maybe lots of heads. Idk
i have one more computer question. my new laptop came today and the touchpad isn't working. i spent an hour on the phone with asus trying to fix it and they were stumped. they told me to call newegg, who informed me that the computer is now out of stock, so they can only refund me, not exchange it. called asus again and they want me to ship the computer to them to be fixed (and they're not paying for the shipping). so my question is, should i send the computer to the company so they can try to fix it, or is this a bad sign that the computer is doomed if it's having hardware issues the first time it was powered on? i don't want to send it back only to have more issues in the future.

]When Karma was a thing, I once lost karma points for posting a Sarah Jarosz cover of Tom Waits "Come On Up To The House" when she was announced as a cafe act. That is now considered one of the best Waits covers, right up there with Springsteen's Jersey Girl

It's possible my touch pad has been broken for 4 years, but I wouldn't know. I don't use my laptop without my mouse, I loathe the touch pads.
But to answer your question, ya, I'd say that's a bad sign and not a laptop I'd end up keeping if I were in your shoes.
It's possible it's just a driver issue, but the fact that Asus tech support couldn't figure it out is worrisome. Could be a freak hardware thing where a connection is loose/not soldered correctly. Shouldn't have slipped by QA though.
Does Newegg say they'll be getting some more in stock soon? Could you wait a week or two for a replacement to be in stock, or is it an item they will no longer carry?
If it were me, I'd Google the model laptop you have and your issue. If it doesn't look to be common, I'd see if I could just wait for a replacement from Newegg. If a replacement is not available, I'd probably just take the refund and get something comparable that's in stock.
Kind of shitty Asus isn't offering to pay the shipping for something that was defective out of the box.

I would return it to Newegg for a refund, I just wouldn't feel good about keeping a laptop with issues right off the bat (and forget paying for shipping!).

My vote is return it. It might be totally fine after you fix it, but personally I'd be more comfortable getting my money and just purchasing another comparable model.
I just ate a can of soup with wild rice in it. The rice seriously looked like a combination of maggots and mini squid things (tentacles have always freaked me out). It was terrifying and it took so much to not just throw away the entire can.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Thoughts? It starts out promising, then it seemed to fall apart.
My excitement is clouding any judgement. I've been listening non-stop all day.
The only negative I have so far is "Shotgun" has the potential to be a much better song and I can't really figure out what is holding it back. I think it's the lyrics.

So. The NBA has a new podcast that just debuted a couple days ago called NBA Soundsystem and this is the logo, lightning bolt and all. I wonder how LCD feels about this.

I dig it too. It's not on the level of Parks, The Office, or Community, but it helps fill that void a bit. Definitely a talented cast, plus it's awesome to see Mark McKinney get work.
Colton Dunn is amazing. It was fun seeing him and Whittels as the stoner animal control guys on Parks when we rewatched the series recently.

I love Lauren Ash too, she was great in Another Period. I can't look at Ben Feldman and not see Ginsberg, also.
I was watching the Kids in the Hall "Carfuckers" short the other day and laughed at the moment I realized this obscene dude was the same guy playing good guy Glenn.

i've been listening to some older comedy bang bang podcast episodes recently and it's making my heart hurt for the loss of harris wittels. every single thing he said was hilarious.
We went and saw Beauty & the Beast today. The original was my favorite as a kid. I thought it was very well done. Talk about some good voices in that cast.
Edited to add: JR was the only man in the theater.
