That's good to hear. Just took a look and didn't see anything that crazy in terms of price saving.
Interesting, I just keep seeing people vouch for their comfort and I need new shoes for festival season and general quality of life.
They are definitely comfy, worked out well for me when I wore them at Day For Night. But that's all concrete, they might not fare as well in a muddier environment. The material is kind of porous and your feet might get all wet and yucky and what not. Just a thought though, I haven't tried them in that environment myself.
I'm only going to grassy/cities festival this year and the foreseeable future, so expecting these to work out quite well!
bon iver presale for merriweather post pavilion today. it's a clusterfuck - apparently ticketfly & bon iver's team somehow mishandled the individual promo codes and now no one's works.

It's February 20th and I'm wearing only a lightweight flannel outside. It's 50 degrees. This is nice but weird. Like looking over my shoulder because this is too nice.
Also, Chef's Table (on Netflix) finally showcased a fucking baker and I'm so happy.

I am glad it was positive and amicable, sorry y'all brokeup. Breakups suck even when they are like that.

it's never fun, but to paraphrase louis ck, no good marriage ever ends in divorce. so if it wasn't working it's good y'all split up, and even better it was amicable.
i understand the kids these days "hook up" using cellular phone applications. i suggest you look into this.

Ha. When Abra and I split, there was an amazing culture shock as to how dating had changed in the intervening years. Back in the day, finding dates through the internet was so cutting age it was almost creeper territory. Now, it's almost the standard.

It's too warm! And tomorrow is projected to be 66? GIVE ME MY WINTER BACK
EDIT: Also, it's February 20th there? All this time I thought you were 2 hours away, but you're actually 2 days in the past?!?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

shhhhh. I can't read good.
The past is new. Usually I'm living in the future from dating product at work.

I've been married for the past 3 years and monogamous for the 5 years before that, so I missed the whole app dating thing. But I am fascinated by my single friends tinder adventures, although said adventures are way less salacious then TV would have me believe. Not sure if that says more about reality or my particular group of friends. Or maybe my friends are all off having wild sex orgies and just don't want to tell their married friend how incredible their lives are.

Well that's good. If it's gonna end, at least end it well!

Never married but have been in a monogamous relationship for 2 1/2 years now with a year break in between this one and my 13 year relationship. It was a shock to the system to see everyone only date on apps. I did online dating when it was as Dave Maynar said "creeper territory" and 90% of them were creepers.
Although I did technically meet thejeremy through OKCupid (because we both have the same lucky number 701) we didn't date or anything for months afterwards. We only ended up meeting due to a fact that we had mutual friends. I am not about the apps at all, I think it is still creeper territory. I went out with some weirdos and batman thanks to those apps. I am glad to not be single, it is not easy.

Is there a story that accompanies this claim???? You can't leave us hanging like that.

Seriously. The story will be equally awesome regardless of whether it was Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, or Ben Affleck she went on a date with.

It is actually pretty lame. It was the second date and he was already on strike three. So here it is...
I met this guy on OkCupid... we go get coffee/pastries to meet in person after talking one day. I find out he is a cop and his birthday is my ex's birthday (and he didn't shave the back of his neck..YUCK, three strikes right there) at this meeting but, he seemed nice enough, I guess; all my friends tell me that I am way too picky and to give him another chance. So I said yes when he asked me out on "date" and tells me it will have to be after comic con because he is working detail. I meet him at Molly's in the Market, which is a bar, I order a drink which he never offered to pay for, orders himself a very expensive drink, flirts with the bartender, who tells me that he is a regular there and he was dressed as Batman. He didn't work detail at comic con, he went to hangout all day. I don't blame him for that, but be honest especially if you are going to show up in costume. I thought it was actually kind of cute since I am a nerd and made a joke about him being a real life hero because he was a cop. Unfortunately it wasn't cute, he was really kind of a douche, talked all this big bullshit after I said the hero bit, so I never contacted him back.
