Nine Inch Nails are embarking on a global tour - heavily in Europe in June and July before closing out in Japan. In the meantime, they will do 2 shows in Las Vegas marking the only US shows this summer.

I wonder if that means they will do more US Dates in the fall and be at Voodoo Fest. Or maybe i am just wishing.
I think they're 50/50 at this point just based on it being the 20th anniversary and them being the main act who has played it the most. Ties aren't with Rehage anymore since it's C3, but hopefully C3 understands the history and the fact that Nails are a little more important in New Orleans than in other places due to the ties.

Fall tour is practically guaranteed, note how it says that those Vegas dates will be the only USA dates for the summer.
Yeah, that's a pretty big run of shows with them playing a lot of stuff that people know. I think Aja was the biggest album of kids my age who came up a little later in the late 70's/early 80's. A lot of my friends had it and used to jam on it from time to time in their cars. I think the higher fidelity of the sound contributed. I did catch Kung Fu with about 5 additional musicians cover Royal Scam for a Jazz Fest night-show a couple years back. That was outstanding though really just a tribute compared to these shows.

Gaucho is my favorite, followed by Aja and then The Royal Scam. I don't even know which shows I should do, how many shows I should do, could I afford all of them... So many questions.
I'm moving to nyc in July and I'm tempted to buy the Aja tix is my first purchased show in nyc, but I'm not THAT knowledgeable on the rest of their discography

You'll know more than you think you do. Just from some of the early albums besides Aja:
Can't By A Thrill - Do It Again, Dirty Work (I don't want to do your dirty work, no more), Reelin' in the Years
Pretzel Logic - Rikki Don't Lose that Number
Katy Lied - Black Friday
Royal Scam - Kid Charlemagne, The Royal Scam
Gaucho - Hey 19, Babylon Sisters (shake it)
and of course F.M., no static at all as title track from the movie F.M. Actually you'll probably know way more than those songs because once you hear some of the other ones that don't immediately come to mind on name, you'll recognize.

Haha as someone who knows jack shit about Steely Dan, I thought all of those album titles were actually supporting acts that I had just never heard of.

I know they have Florida dates in May, so might not hurt to check one of those out.
The lady doesn't care for SD, otherwise I'd be considering their Tampa date cause we'll be down there at that time.

I actually saw that right before you posted this. I hadn't paid attention to their dates because they're usually insanely overpriced but I was surprised to find that the lawn seat are only $17 + fees!!!!

Comes out to $40 after fees...that venue really loves to add on a crap ton of fees.

I won a spot for Superorganism at a small intimate performance for a radio station (kind of like the KEXP performances) this afternoon. I didn't have tickets for their show tonight so I thought it'd be tight to see them for free, even if for only 4 songs. They were supposed to start at noon, but they showed up an hour late, and then wouldn't even start sound checking until some fuckhead member of their band demanded a certain type of apple, so one of the interns had to go run and get them. After the intern ran out and got the apples, they started sound check finally at 12:40, and I was told they wouldn't be playing until at least 1pm. I couldn't wait that long with work, so I had to leave. Was really looking forward to seeing them at Lolla potentially, but now I'm not thinking so since they wasted over an hour of my time.

Got free tickets to see The Black Angels tonight. Neat.
I'm seeing them in ten days, please let us know your thoughts.
Well, my ears are still ringing so might as well type. It was really good! The band sounded tight! Their bassist and drummer killed it. The vocals weren’t quite as clear as the record but it happens. Great rock show, even if a couple tracks run together. I sadly missed the Black Lips due to working late. But i got the sound guy a shot and he gave me the set list. Pretty awesome since i didn’t know i was going as of this morning.
