Summer Set in Wisconsin just announced there lineup. I've gone the last two years and already knew I couldn't go this year. Was satisfied to see that the lineup, while good, is fine for me missing that's for sure.
This means Die Antwoord will be back in the states. Please do a short tour and come to Orlando or Tampa.

What are the dates for this?
Edit: never mind. I googled and it's Aug 14-16... Aka the first weekend I HAVE to be in Austin for orientation on the 17th. Boooooooo. I probably would've seriously considered this.

yup my cousin is getting married that Saturday, still considering going friday but probably not cuz I'd be a wreck for the wedding the next day
sooooo jack white hasn't played in minnesota this tour. I'm freakin' out. I just hope I don't end up having to work if (WHEN?!) he comes here. AHH!
edit: so this includes more than just the lazaretto tour. boo.
I wonder what the five states are.

As per smellycat: smellycat said: apparently these are 5 of the white strips dates that were cancelled in 2007, & therefore states he's never played. here ya go.
Thanks for the heads up - although it's not really my kind of dance music and it's a few days short of festival shenanigans, so I'll be good and save my duckets.
Finally picked up my Mastodon/Clutch tickets. I still don't understand why they're playing where they are in San Antonio (210 Kapones). I've never been to the venue, but it says the stage is only 3', so it can't be that large. Mastodon by themselves sold out Stubbs in Austin last time they were in town, which has a 2200 person capacity. I have a hard time imagining this club in SA will be over 500-750. And SA is typically known as a metal community. Will be cool to see them in a small club again!
I saw Dan Deacon at 80/35 a few years back and it was easily one of the craziest shows I've ever been to. Everyone is dancing. Literally, every single person, it's crazy. I've never seen John Talabot though, but seeing as you've been getting really into his stuff in the past couple weeks, I'd honestly go for that. I love me some house music and that fool has a pretty damn good grasp on how to make it great. I'm sure his live show is satisfying.
I've seen both and Talabot would win every time. You'll have multiple chances to see Deacon before you'll ever get another chance to see John Talabot again.

That's a very good point. Talabot definitely wins with the rarity argument. Thank you gentlemen, Talabot it is!

I've seen Dan Deacon live before so I'd be more inclined to see John Talabot if I ever got the chance. Prince Rama and Dan Deacon played the Orange Peel on the 17th. I didn't really need to see him again soon but I would have likee to see Prince Rama.
