That is interesting. So what are they gonna do? Fix it? Buy another? How much do those even cost? I'd guess a lot... ? I can't imagine a set without Idioteque, and I'm seeing them tomorrow!! Ahh!

they better get that worked out in time for bonnaroo. i hate when people get all pissy because they didn't get to hear the one song they wanted to hear but that would honestly be devastating to me. very few songs have had a greater impact in my life than Idioteque and every time that Ive thought of Radiohead at Bonnaroo this year, I picture myself listening to Idioteque on the farm at 1am, probably in tears. not getting that moment would be very sad

This is terrible news. At Lolla 08 I thought nothing could top Fake Plastic Trees, but then they closed with Idioteque and it brought the house down. I've never seen a dance party like that in my life. And apparently I may not get the chance to see it again this Friday
Hmmm, they've dropped Weird Fishes/Arpeggi in 2 of the last 3 shows. That would suck if they didn't play it at Roo.
Hope they get their equipment squared away for Idioteque as well.
Weird Fishes is soooo good live on this tour. It was always one of my least favorite on the album (not that I didn't like any of them, just really loved about half), but the Atlanta show and subsequent Coachella show just blew me away. That shade of blue is one of the most beautiful things I've ever laid eyes upon.
1. Bloom 2. Airbag 3. Kid A 4. Bodysnatchers 5. Staircase 6. Codex 7. Meeting in the Aisle 8. The National Anthem 9. Nude 10. Morning Mr Magpie 11. Identikit 12. Lotus Flower 13. Go To Sleep 14. The Gloaming 15. Feral 16. There There
Encore 1:
17. You and Whose Army 18. 15 Step 19. Supercollider 20. Paranoid Android
Encore 2:
21. Give up The Ghost 22. Separator 23. Reckoner
Awesome show!
Was shut out of tickets when they were on sale. We got pretty good seats for less than face.
And even better, I was with billypilgrim. So much fun. Can't wait to see them again on the farm.

Yes!! I'm dying for Jigsaw. I wonder why they haven't played it yet this tour. Saving it for Roo?
i don't think it fits the ethereal nature they were trying to create with this tour. they already have a few straight-forward rock songs in the setlist like bodysnatchers (same album even).

one thing that might be a factor is the ridiculously awesome lighting rig stage setup. there is obviously a pre-set light stage/show for each song. which might not lend itself to just adding in a song or 2 "last minute" each night. probably something they have to work out a bit.
that said, its criminal that they dont play jigsaw. shit rocks your mother
Unfortunately Jonny has 2 AS units, One is in Europe, and one is for American tours. I'd say it's possible that its fixed by Roo, but I'd start getting ready for no Idioteque. Only thing I can think off is loading some similar samples onto Clives trigger pad and have him play the beat, like they did with Jonnys drums in 15 Step

fwiw they supposedly have 75 songs rehearsed and have only played ~45
For the record Ed has said in a later interview that that number is more at about 60 songs. I'm sure theyre saving a handful of debuts for Europe, so I think well only get about 3-4 more tour debuts while they're in the states. Here's hoping one of those songs is Talk Show Host
I apologize if this has been talked about in this thread - I read 3-4 pages in a few spots and skimmed another 10 or so pages for a total of about 25 pages and didn't see anything about this
What time would be good to get in line to get in the pit for this show? I was thinking about getting in line near the end of the Avett Bros. and waiting it out from there over on the left side.

I'll see your Talk Show Host and raise you a Polyethylene...

I kinda hope and kinda don't want them to play How to Disappear Completely. Last year right before Bonnaroo my grandmother died which put me through an emotional rollercoaster on the farm, and if they play that I know I'm gonna break down and cry like a baby.

I'll play this game!!
Where Bluebirds Fly, Paperbag Writer, and 4 Minute Warning. Probably almost as unreasonable, I'm hoping for A Wolf at the Door, A Wolf at the Door, and Fake Plastic Trees.
I really enjoyed seeing Bangers & Mash live on the 08 tour and Meeting in the Aisle this tour. I have yet to see TASOO though. Here's to hoping for Cincy tonight or Bonnaroo on Friday!
Also I've almost finished designing my ideal Radiohead setlist. I'll post in on here when I do.
