I bet someone at atease has identified all the pre-show tracks, they had the same ones at Coachella.
Can anyone find this info out for me? I have never been able to view the atease boards. I always make an account and verify and then log-in and get "Sorry, an error occurred. From the opening minute of "Bloom," though, all the way to the end of the show, the thought that completely stuck out in my mind was, "This is the best show I've ever seen. This is the best show I've ever seen. This is the best show I've ever seen." It sounded perfect.

it was my first radiohead show, so maybe im not in the best position to judge, but damn if that wasnt the best quacking thing ive ever seen
It's like, if I hand you a sandwich and am all "hey man, have a bit of this delicious ham sandwich," and then you take a bite and hand it back and are all "I'm disappointed, I was hoping for a turkey sandwich," you'd be insane
to anyone that says the crowd sucked...front of the soundboard stage left was raging at all the right moments and dead silent at the right moments (you and who's army, house of cards etc). One of the more respectful crowds i've ever been a part of when it came to paying attention to the thing you came for...MUSIC!!

i was on the left side a little back from the soundboard but the crowd around there was exactly the same- respectfully quiet, hanging on every word and note. the eerie silence in the breaks between songs was strange- it might have given some ppl the impression that the crowd was not very interested (ive heard a lot of comments about how"subdued" it was). but really the silence was simply a crowd eagerly anticipating what was to come and not wishing to ruin a spiritual experience for everyone else. simply put, it was unlike any crowd ive ever been in

Quack that quacking stage bleed during Give Up the Ghost!
Despite the sub-bass, I will never forget that moment in space/time. I still have chills thinking about it.
Also, how the visuals picked up during Paranoid Android. I have a lot to compare it against, and it's still too early to do. But I think this may be the best concert I have ever seen.
I listen to far more Radiohead now than in 06, and had a WAY BETTER spot, so I found this one personally more enjoyable. With a few tweaks in setlist (RIP Myxo and HTDC), this might well have been the best show I've ever experienced, and indeed it was the best show I've ever seen, visually. Instead, it's simply a top 10, perhaps top 5 ever. The KOL songs live are... so, so beyond words amazing. I can't even.

Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Daft Punk... Is it possible? I hope so but for some reason I see Radiohead as a 1 time act at Roo. I hope I'm wrong about that though

I forget what song it was, but the crowd was incredibly subdued and this drunk chick comes through and screams some obnoxious thing at her friend behind her, completely ruining the moment. I loved how the crowd was loud at the right moments and quiet at the right moments. Never see that kind of thing these days.

I don't know if I have ever heard the farm as quiet as they were during Daily Mail, at least from where I was standing the crowd was perfect. Except for a couple a holes who pushed their way right beside us and then just stood there and yelled at eachother until finally pushing farther forward.

As expected, Fridays Radiohead show was great. They truly are one of the worlds top live bands. The light/stage show was fantastic to see in a setting such as Roo.
...BUT, I was a little dissapointed with the set list that they chose. I feel it was geared to those people who have become Radiohead fans in the last 5 years. Choosing to play 75% of King of limbs and 6 songs off of In Rainbows seems strange when they have such a large catalogue to choose from. Half of the show was made up of those 2 albums??? This is more of a rant than a complaint about the show, but without the ridiculous stage show, this wouldnt have been all that special. Out of the 3 times Ive seen them this was #1 in terms of stage show, but #3 in terms of setlist/entertainment.
Also, What the hell was Thom thinking when he teased us with that Jack White non-sense???

The only way you would have been disappointed with that setlist, or the style of the setlist, is if you haven't been paying attention to ANY of their shows from this year. I can see being disappointed that they didn't play "Pyramid Song," or that they chose to wait until Chicago to play "Full Stop," but this set is absolutely typical for the tour.

I have been paying attention to what they have been playing, but my post was based on their show on Friday. So I guess the same goes for the rest of their tour in my opinion.

The only songs I was really bummed we didn't get was National Anthem, Sardines, and Full Stop. Especially considering they had just played those the week of 'roo. Still not complaining as it the best show I've ever seen.

If you've been paying attention, then you can't have been disappointed - that show pretty much exactly lived up to the expectations set by the tour so far: They're going to open up with "Bloom." They're going to play 5-7 songs off of King of Limbs (only 5 at Bonnaroo), they're going to play 4 or 5 new/unreleased songs (5 at Bonnaroo), 4 -5 songs from In Rainbows (Bonnaroo got 6) then the rest is going to be a pretty even split of songs from Hail to the Thief, Amnesiac, Kid A, and OK Computer. That's what you should have expected, and that's exactly what was delivered.
Im not sure what youre trying to prove by being confrontational (as usual). All I was saying is that I was disapointed in their setlist choice for Roo. I get what youre saying about the rest of the tour and what I "should have " expected, but I guess I was hoping for something a little more at Roo. I wasnt trying to get into an argument about their tour and their setlist choices for it. Youre a smart guy, I think you can understand where I was going with my original post. Lets not twist this into something its not. I was simply stating my displeasure with their choice of songs for their Friday show.

No, I'm really confused by what you're saying, I swear to God this isn't one of those times where I'm just being a weeniehole.
You say you're disappointed - yet also that you were completely aware of the style of setlists they've been playing, and therefore know what songs you'll probably hear. The two are incompatible - I could see you being disappointed if you thought the songs were played poorly, or thought they were boring live, or whatever, but being disappointed with their choice of songs when you admit that you knew what was going to be played just doesn't make sense. I'm just confused.
It's like, if I hand you a sandwich and am all "hey man, have a bit of this delicious ham sandwich," and then you take a bite and hand it back and are all "I'm disappointed, I was hoping for a turkey sandwich," you'd be insane because I just told you that you were about to bite into a delicious ham sandwich covered in spicy brown mustard and swiss cheese on rye bread.
They're just not gonna play that Big Hits RHCP-style set you've always dreamt about. Time to stop chasing the dragon and be thankful for the killer, new stuff they continue to produce. I was hoping for older material myself, but walked away dragging my jaw across the What field.

I think their newer material comes off the best live personally...at least in rainbows and KoL...also felt that their newest songs (supercollider, identikit, staircase) all sounded MUCH better than when i saw them in StL. pretty excellent show. i might be wrong was awesome.
as for the crowd, i have never seen so many Quacked up, pushy jerkstores shoving through the crowd when there was nowhere to go. if you chose to go see foster the people instead of camping out, sorry, you SHOULD be near the back, not think that youre entitled to step over/around/through everyone who was waiting there before you.

Also full stop kinda sucks, so don't be too sad you missed it.
Wrong. It's been a little sloppy the two times they've played it but the actual song itself seems like it's gonna be a quacking killer track. Hope we get it tonight in Camden.
Also yeah guys, if they played High and Dry/Fake Plastic Trees/Whatever the Quack old bends songs you wanted to hear, they would just play them like shiz anyway, and then everyone would still be complaining. I personally would rather a set filled with energetic, exciting, enthusiastic performances of post Kid A tracks, then a set filled with lackluster, bored and lifeless performances of Planet Telex and Just.
